PLEASE FULL VIEW THIS.I think I'm the first person to draw Avatar: The Last Airbender fanart, but, dammit, Sokka reminds me so much of Horohoro! >D (In other words: he's a squishy ice-freak whose a ditz that thinks he's cool. =3 ) But, alas, I have fallen in love with Nickelodeon's new show, Avatar. What can I say, even if it's one of those American-anime wannabes, it's still got a good plot, wonderful characters, and nice voice acting. It's good. I mean, I almost forgot I was watching an American show. That's how good it is. But Sokka doesn't replace Horo-bum. >3
Done in oC3 in 3 hours. I was experimenting with fur.
His expression... irks me a little... He's got such great spirit and a wide range of emotions, and I just couldn't choose one. So blah. x.xSokka rocks. Watch Avatar. Yami needs sleep for class tomorrow. Goodnight and goodbye! *snores and sleep walks into a wall* ...ouchies... ;_;

like this guy. Although he was initially cold to Aang, he became a lot nicer (though he still casually makes a snide remark at him)to him later on. Heck, he was like a surrogate big brother to him.

Zuko's teh smex, sure thing. If he wasn't so hard to draw, he'd be plastered all over my gallery as well. (I do have a Zuko thing on the backburner right now, but whether I finish him or not depends on if I forget that he's sitting on my hard drive).

His hair is the product of me not liking his hair being so... orderly. I figured, he's out in a pre-industrialised culture and his hair isn't frazzled, so I've gotta frazzle it for him! >D Never did I think his hair would come out looking "sexy."

Hey, Avatar's one of the better "wannabe anime" shows, and I happen to like Sokka. You captured his character pretty well, and the simple coloring looks nice. Thumbs up!

I was in awe when I watched Avatar. I'm absolutely in love with the series D: Best dang American-anime I've seen so far (besides Teen Titans). Sokka's one of my fave characters already, and also ...what's-his-name-teenage-prince-of-the -fire-nation. And the flying bison! :3

i totally agree with you on the surprising goodness of this particular amerime...I've fallen deeply, madly in love with lil aang and his big, six-legged oxy friend.
Despite the very over-done elemental theme, i really enjoyed the characters and the animated nuances that really just make it eye candy to watch. RANT!

Yeah, I was taken aback by it as well. I was just watching it too see how they botched it up, but they actually did a pretty good job. You are right, though, the elemental theme is a little too much, but the great characters make up for that in personality. And I do think Aang's the cutest thing with his giant bison-beaver-thing! XD
