[BC](Holy- this took so long! 😓)

[BC]But nevertheless, here's a remake that could actually rival my "Judgement Hall".

[C]if not with even more details than it, too!)

[BC]I dunno if you can see the details, but it isn't as easy as it looks...
[C](I had to duplicate and paste the background to make it look even, and even then I had to redraw several parts to ensure a "fluid" consistency.)

[BC][Sorry to disappoint you guys,
[C]but unlike some, I don't have the skill to draw perfect, straight lines,
[C]which is why I struggled mostly with the pillars, windows and the floor...]

[BC]I hope that I got most of it right, though.

[BC]I tried to stay as close to the reference I used as possible,
[C]but even then I could never really compare it with my own artstyle,

[C]This was supposed to be the remade version of an artwork I did a long time ago.

[C]The premise is that I wanted to recreate the poster of the "Official Art for Undertale",
[C]which is known as the typical image that should immediately come to mind when thinking about Undertale, with the early versions of Frisk, Toriel and Flowey shown:

[C]My reason why I chose this particular artwork to work with is that there has been no "official" depiction of the Genocide-path of the story.

[C]True, there are countless artworks about Sans and Chara and the Judgement Hall,
[C]but since there is nothing done by Toby Fox or Temmie Chang on the matter,
[C]I took it as my own responsibility to do what it takes for the task at hand.

[C]I may have underestimated my skills,
[C]but you can't say that it isn't rather unique.

[C]Think about it,
[C]no one besides me does the art I do,
[C]and for that, this deserves at least an A for effort, right...?

[C]OK, all this nonsense aside,
[C]other than being a "counter-image" for the poster-art of Undertale,
[C]it is supposed to depic the situation where Frisk is sparing Sans, deeply regretting their decision in choosing this path.

[C]Rather than to "dunk" Frisk,
[C]Sans decides to make the best out of the situation and takes them into his care,
[C]like Papyrus would have liked.

[C]And even though he deeply misses Papyrus, he thinks it is still better to hang onto Frisk than to have nothing at all...

[C]I know, you can say that Frisk can always reset to make things right again,
[C]but this concept was taken from a fanfiction where Sans more and more loses his sanity after all his friends and his brother are killed by the human.

[C]At first I wanted to include the spirit of Papyrus and Chara's shadow into the piece,
[C]but given the circumstances,
[C]I had to scrap the idea...

[C](I almost gave up hope and thought you have already forgotten about me, but this has convinced me otherwise.)

[C](I can't believe it took so much time and an edit to finally see this through,
[C]but I'm glad that I added the Finishing Touch in the long run,
[C]I think it gives the picture a whole new meaning, and that's what caused for it to break through...)
