Description ...I can't breathe....

...It hurts.

Is this...finally...what it means...to 'die'...?

A product of my pretty messed up fangirl-mind after too much thinking. I have no idea how I came to draw this. It just kind of wouldn't leave me alone. Again

...And it's Kanda. Again. >_> (....I just never learn, do I?) BUT, I have some other pictures almost ready for submitting, so hopefully you'll see those in the upcoming days.

I actually had a ton of reference pictures piled up for this one, but in the end I hardly used any and pretty much went with what I felt. So, because of that the coloring here is highly experimental, and I'm not happy with everything, but I've never tried to draw serious underwater pictures before, so...no can help it I would have liked it to look better, wanted to add a few sun rays and such, but I'm just not that skilled yet. Have to practice more~

I didn't use to color my drawings very often until I found copics, but now I just love to color things with them. They're surprisingly easy to use once you get the hang of it, I recommend trying them out if you ever get the chance

Eli siis värit on taas kerran todella hyvin onnistuneet, en voi muuta sanoa. Samoin tunnelma. Sie taidat olla peräti parhaimmillasi kun pääset kuvittamaan sellaisia tunnelmaltaan vahvoja ja dramaattisia kohtauksia. Tässä se tunnelma on jännällä tavalla ristiriitaisesti samalla sekä surullinen että rauhallinen. Sopii hyvin ajatukseen siitä että joku kokee kuoleman olevan lähellä ja joutuu päästämään irti kaikesta...

Joo, miusta itestäkin tuntuu että on paljon helpompi piirtää kun saa itsensä viritettyä tavallaan työn tunnelmaan ja ilmapiiriin, eli mitä vahvempi 'tunne' kuvassa on niin sen helpommin tuntuu onnistuvan. Siksi haluisinkin aina saada piirustusaiheeni paperille mahdollisimman pian ja yhdeltä istumalta, niin se tunnelataus joka yleensä tulee vahvimmin esiin heti aiheen keksittyä ei kerkeäisi karata

Täytyy myöntää että tätä piirtäessä tuntu siltä, mitä pidemmälle piirsin ja vein ajatusta eteenpäin että "hei, mitä ihmettä oikeen oon tekemässä lempihahmolleni...?" kun piirrän tällasta kohtausta, ja sitten tuli itellekin ihan omituisen surullinen ja outo olo

Älä sinä nyt semmoista murehdi, minä teen itsekin lempihahmoilleni aina kaikenlaista vähemmän mukavaa... (yleensä tosin fanfictionin muodossa ^^') Ja joskus melkein tuntuu siltä että ne ovat lempihahmoja juuri siksi kun niille tapahtuu vaikeita asioita. Enhän minä edes osaisi samaistua hahmoihin joiden elämä on liian aurinkoista ja helppoa. Olen joskus miettinyt että tavallaan juuri surun ja kärsimyksen tunteiden jakaminen tekee meistä ihmisiä...

Menipäs syvälliseksi mutta älä siitä hermostu, se on täälläpäin ihan normaalia.

No joo, yleensä tykkään kyllä omalla tavallaan hyvinkin siitä että lempihahmoni kärsivät sarjoissaan Tätä piirtäessä se olo tuli vaan oudosti kesken piirtämisen kun tuijotin piirustusta ajatuksissani.

Eipä tuo syvällinen pohdiskelu mitään haittaa, ja oon ite asiassa aikas samaa mieltä kanssasi aiheesta

But, oh god, there are so many things I'd colour differently in this if I had the chance to re-draw it...but, well, seeing those mistakes now is a sign of improvement to the earlier^^

I love the radiance from which the light hits the water, and how you captured it just perfectly to draw Kanda in that corpreal place, as well as how the vines and the flowers seem to be reaching out to welcome Kanda. It makes this picture so lovely, especially with the choice of meduim. ^^

Don't worry the water is fine ^^ Sunrays could make it complete but it looks great this way.

I really can't imagine the day i'll color things like you. Girl, just relax, you're doing a great work ^^ How can you call this "highly experimental"? It's far better than any experimental thing i can do ^__^;

The lotus flowers are really beautiful ^^ I loved the way it turned out. I loved the way you drew and colored it. I loved the blue shadows you used in the flowers, leaves and Kanda's clothes. And loved the bubbles.

Really gorgeus work ^^

Ne onnistukin kaikkein parhaiten. Ton veden väritys meni vähän miten sattuu kun en oikeen itekään tienny mitä tekisin sen kanssa ja laitoin liian monta värikerrosta päällekkäin niin se väri alko tuhraantua TT_TT
