Hey there everyone,Despite being behind on messages, I did want to post to let you guys now that I'm still alive out here!
One day soon, I'll be caught up on message and have new art work to show you! Please bear with me, ok? Your patience and support really is greatly appreciated! 
Anyways, at the very least, I wanted to share some Yu-Gi-Oh products I acquired, in case some of you may be interested in purchasing some for yourselves!
Firstly I acquired some adorable Yu-Gi-Oh pillows as seen in the image above, which were created by the talented Betty Liao of Kafaid.com
Aside from having her own site: kafaid.com/ She also has an Etsy store, where pillows like the ones above can be ordered: www.etsy.com/shop/Kafaid?ref=s… ; She was kind enough to take a commission from me, which resulted in that Atem plushie above!
Also, there is a new artbook related to Yu-Gi-Oh which feature a lot of images from the new movie, as well as a very thorough history of the characters! It's a rather thick book, much more so than any of the previous Yu-Gi-Oh anime related ones and I thought I would mention it for anyone who might be interested. It can be purchased on ebay, or from online stores like Yesasia.com or CDJapan.
And finally, there is the new Yami Yugi Figma figure, which is standing among some of my other figures and figurines. It's pretty cool but smaller than the Kotobukiya statues. Speaking of which, for those unaware, there will be a Pharaoh Atem figure released by Kotobukiya that will be released some time next year! I'll have to get a hold of that too!

figma is expensive, isn't it?
I don't know about figma, but I wonder about the prise. Bandai produces figures of the very same quality but their figures cost only half the price a figma costs.

Well the price can vary, but I would recommend checking on ebay and see if you can find a good deal

yea, but It's hard too chose. on one side you don't want to pay too much, but on the other side, the lower the price, the higher the risk to get a fake product from china.
maybe it's not really a big deal because the officials produce their stuff in china too like any one does nowadays, but I don't want to risk the quality might by suffering from cheap production costs.... it's like a vicious circle.
which price class should I look for to be on a safer way?

I honestly couldn't tell you dear. I'm sorry. It might be helpful to try to contact the seller if you have questions, or maybe check out their feedback on ebay to see what other people have to say about them. I actually haven't ever come across anyone selling fake or knock off products myself, but I don't doubt that that happens. I wish you the best of luck though!

This is a very nice collection of new merch, Kathie! It's always nice to see people giving fan merch some love as well, since there's so much amazing stuff out there. I'm curious about the book you got as well. While I do have other YGO books from over the years, if this one is the most detailed one you've come across so far then maybe I'll consider picking it up as well.

Thanks girl! I like to think if more Yu-Gi-Oh merchandise is bought by fans,that the demand will be seen, encouraging the creators to make more. I'm super excited about the Pharoah Atem Kotobukiya figure coming out as I remember looking for that or something like it last time I went to Japan in 2010. Oddly enough, most art books and figures were released after that. As for the book it is a very nice one! If you'd like, I'll pick it up for you for Christmas. I know a place I can get a good deal for it!

It's a shame you missed out on getting merchandise in 2010, but at least there's still good YGO merch being made these days to make up for it. And many of those figures are wonderful! I only actually have the Jounouchi one, but I'm definitely glad to have him. And while I wouldn't ask you to get anything for me, that book would definitely be something I'd be interested in if you were getting a present for me. ;0;

By the way, did you mean the big Yugioh Kotobukiya Jonouchi statue? That's the only figure you have at all?? What about the smaller ones?

That's very kind of you! ;0; I really need to start getting Christmas sorted as well. Next thing I know I'll turn around and it'll be November and I'll be rushing again. And of course I wish you the best of luck both in getting your Pokemon piece finished and catching up on your replying. I certainly know that I feel better when I can clear out my messages sometimes as well.
And yep, it's the Kotobukiya Jonouchi that I have. There is a shop near me that has Yami in stock (or they did last time I checked), but sadly he's too expensive for me right now. And the owner said he probably won't get Kaiba in stock any time soon. As for the smaller figures, I do have a bunch of the older ones that they made and released in the West, but I usually forget to mention those. And I have I think all of the set for the modern day chibi figures, but hardly any of the Egyptian ones, since the shop I use tends to stick to the better known characters who are easier to sell. I feel bad every time I go in, because they always have loads of Anzu, Honda and Mokuba left over.

Well my friend, I definitely already started shopping, and I hope to have some nice things to give you if at all possible. 
Despite how many messages I still have to answer, don't ever feel that you can't write me or say hello! I love hearing from you, and even if it does take a while, I try to get to every one. I've actually decided to take at least a few minutes each day to start to go through them. So hopefully I'll be caught up soon! I'm glad to see that you've been working on art and writing yourself!
As for the Kotobukiya figures, I don't know about this Christmas but for future reference, would there be one or two that you'd like more than any other? Either the little ones or the big ones? How about any Yu-Gi-Oh products in general?? I guess it doesn't have to be Yu-Gi-Oh either. Just make sure you update your Amazon list too, and use the Universal Wish List button if it's something not available on Amazon!

That's so very kind of you! I should follow your example and start soon as well, before it's too late. Though I do have my holiday next month so focus on, so I don't want to spend too much money before that. 
I have to admit that I've been trying to tone down on buying as much lately, since I do need to get my hoarding under control. So I've been trying not to think about stuff that I might want as much as I did in the past. Though maybe one day I wouldn't mind having the Yami and Kaiba Kotobukiya figures, because then I'd feel like I'd completed the trio. And while poor Anzu doesn't get much merchandise anything involving her always make it only my list. Thank you for letting me know about the universal wish list button on Amazon as well, I'd honestly have no idea about that. I'll have to look through your list to get some ideas as well.
