Hey everyone,

Well it's been a LONG time! A VERY long time! And I'm still trying to get caught up around here and finish answering some overdue messages, not to mention posting a new journal entry! I apologize for the extremely long delay but I WILL get to it! You'll see!

Anyways, though it's yet to be completed, I thought that I would share a piece I'm currently working on, revolving around Pokemon. A little while back, I put up a poll of in relation to some art you would all want to see me do, and it seems Pokemon won out, though I still hope to consider the other options in the future as well.

I admit that I did watch the show in my late teens, and I of course played a few of the games. Lately, I've always been pretty enthralled with Pokemon GO which is a whole other story! Anyways, when thinking about the anime itself, I always remembered the original trio, of Ash, Brock and Misty, with some of the Pokemon companions. One of my favorite gags was to see Jiggly Puff putting them to sleep and drawing on their faces, but since they all look so happy and peaceful, I thought that this time, I'd have Jiggly Puff looking a little guilty for what he did, hopefully adding to the sentimentality of the piece as a whole. More on that later, but I wanted to share at least this much with all of you. Please forgive the rather sketchy background too, as I hope to add more detail when I paint it. Be on the look out ok?
