Hello everyone,

How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! Well, here I am again, posting at least a little more frequently than before, with my latest chapters of my fan-fiction, "Transcending Memories: A Bond Unsealed," Transcending Memories:A Bond Unsealed-Chapter 12a

Author's Note (January 2017) : Hello again everyone! How are you? Are you doing well? I sure hope that you are! Well, here I am again! It's been quite some time, hasn't it? My goodness! I truly must apologize for that... But alas, as a whole, 2016 was not a year that I will look back on, fondly. Mostly this was due to a number of issues in my personal life, which I won't get into here. And yet, with the start of 2017, I hope that I will not ONLY be able to devote more time to this beloved story of mine, but that I can also find my way back to many of the things I love, such as art and anime. Here's hoping at least! And hey! With the Yu-Gi-Oh movie (the English version anyway) premiering in theaters right now, I'd say that things certainly are looking up! I'm hoping that it'll prove to be an inspiration to me in regards to this work as I could use some new material to sink my teeth into! I also hope that you Transcending Memories:A Bond Unsealed-Chapter 12b

Author's Note (January 2017) : Hello again everyone! I just wanted to add a short message here, as size limitations were once again an issue, forcing me to divide up my chapter 12 into two parts, much like I did with some of my previous chapters. If you haven't already, please read the first part, Chapter 12a here:

            *Teana, please be safe!* Yami prayed, inwardly, as he scoured the deserted streets.
      With his mind racing in desperation, the young prince scanned every rounded corner, each passing alleyway! Running faster and faster, he thought of nothing but reaching the young woman; hurrying in the direction of her blood curdling scream!
    And yet, the anticipation of finding Teana inadvertently trig and the pencil drawing that I rendered for my dear friend last month.

This image however, was one that I wanted to do for myself.... In truth, it was done as a bit of comfort, when I was having an *especially* bad day, when I first drew it... Then, after viewing of the "Yu-Gi-Oh: The Dark Side of Dimensions," movie, I was feeling a little sentimental too, thinking that it might really be the end of the franchise, which saddened me. And so, all of this combined led to this rendering of this work.   Though not completely, as their positioning is a bit different from the way I described it, this scene is partly an illustration from my fan-fiction's chapter 8, as seen here Transcending Memories: A Bond Unsealed-Chapter 8b

Author's Note (April 2015): Hello again everyone! This will be a short commentary, given that this chapter was originally just one. However, much like Chapter 4, Deviantart seems to have size limitations on text files, so I was forced to divide up the chapter into two segments instead. Please check out the first half here:

Chapter 8b
                  “Ana... Ana! Hey! Wake up! Are you there?, when Yami comforted a very distraught Teana. For anyone who may be interested, I'll even include that particular passage below:

Before Teana could even finish forming her last syllable, Yami had both swiftly and unexpectedly pulled her towards him! With a slight gasp, her eyes widened with disbelief, as she soon found that her head now leaned against Yami's chest! She then felt both of his arms enfolding her delicate frame, with both a wary tightness, and an equally gentle air.

                "Yami... What-”

                “As if I could ever leave you in such a dire state. What foolishness....” Yami said softly.

   Without even a breath, as her entire body remained tense, Teana could feel as Yami's arms loosened their hold, by only the smallest measure. His left arm lowered just slightly, as it now encircled and sustained her waist. His right hand and arm gradually traveled upward, as his fingers first caressed her back, both lightly and soothingly. As his limb continued to escalate, he then gently grasped the fabric of the dress that she wore a number of times, as if to encourage Teana to ease her rigid stance. And finally, his hand settled on the top of her head, as he once again, consoled her with his familiar, rhythmic strokes; coupled with a very subtle rocking motion.

   It was only then that Teana could feel herself calming, her muscles loosening, as her own arms fell limp at her sides. Closing her eyes wearily, as she sank fully into his embrace, she could now hear the sound of Yami's quickening heart beat; a tranquil sound, yet one that somehow brought about even more silent tears to her eyes!

                   “Shh.... It's all right...” Yami whispered.

                   *Those words.... That's also what he-* Teana recalled, as she again thought back to her haunting dream.

                   “I could never hate you, Teana. And I could never pass judgment on you! Not on you... How could I, when-” Yami trailed, as he strengthened his hold upon her. “I will not ask anything of you, that you are unwilling to disclose to me of your own accord. On that, you have my word... However, if there should come a time when you wish to confide in me, about anything at all, I promise you that I will listen with an open mind and without the slightest prejudice.”

                “Yami, I-”

                   “Hush now.... I was very clear, during our last encounter, wasn't I? As I told you then, you have always been able to freely express yourself, both openly and honestly to me. It is a quality that I greatly admire, even now; one that I hope will remain constant between us. And such conveyance is not limited to words alone.... If you still feel the need, we can stay exactly as we are; until you have completely unburdened yourself.”

                *I guess, he's telling me to let it all out?* Teana mused, as she surprised herself with a slight smile.

   And just as quickly as it appeared, Teana felt her sorrow rushing back to her at full force... Even despite the amount of tears that she had already shed, another bout of them quickly manifested, as if they had been waiting to be released for far too long! Sobbing softly, yet audibly against his chest, Teana's own arms traveled upward along his back, until she finally reciprocated his initially firm, yet gentle embrace.

It may be a bit sappy, but I've always loved these two, and trying to tell their story, despite how long I've been attempting to do so! Anyways, I hope you like it!

Chapter 8b
