It turns out Ultimate Despair members are all a bunch of weebs deep down.

Be it in their English or Japanese-speaking counterparts, things would certainly be interesting as a way to pass the time while keeping the hope of the other Jabberwock kids waking up from their comas while staying in the Future Foundation's good graces (assuming the DR3 anime won't end up just offing them by the end of the season) and staving off Junko's influences.

So basically:

Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu (Derek Stephen Prince) - Veemon (Digimon Adventure 02)
Kazuichi Soda (Kyle Hebert) - Noriaki Kakyoin (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Crusaders)
Hajime Hinata (Johnny Yong Bosch) - Yuu Narukami (Persona 4)
Akane Owari (Wendee Lee) - Yoruichi Shihōin (BLEACH)

Sonia Nevermind (Natalie Hoover) ... Well, she doesn't have any other notable roles yet. Actually makes the Sonia being a foreign princess thing funnier that way, in a sense. As if this was a Japanese custom she was not aware of (and being the Japanophilic Ultimate/SHSL Princess that she is, that would be an accomplishment).

So yeah, the survivors, while having to behave like good little hope-fulled children to tell Death to fuck off or another week at a time, they act like over-glorified weeaboo trash to pass the time.
