I started getting into watching MLP again with my girlfriend, and she was wondering how we'd look like as ponies. I already made a ridiculous sparkle pony as a joke, "Midnight Devilwitch Bling Bling" :
As fun as MDBB is, she's not really meant to be a representation of me. I've always had trouble thinking of a proper pony version of myself, because I couldn't settle on a color scheme (I love all bright colors!) and I didn't want one that looked too much like Rainbow Dash. My favorite pony designs have always been the big tall alicorns like Celestia, NMM, and Queen Chrysalis, which suits me since I am tall and leggy. In the end I picked the color scheme from my logo/personal brand, Yamiloo.
I should have done that from the beginning! Oh well, sometimes the most obvious answer is easiest to overlook. I'll probably post some more art of myself and Ash's OC when I figure out her design.

THE COLORS, DUKE! THE COLORS!
I think this is a pretty great pony design, and it fits right into your personal branding while not simply being a pony version of Yamiloo, the character. I definitely see YOU in this pony.
The main criticism of this piece is pretty much technical/craftsmanship. The linework on her tail looks kind of sloppy compared to your excellent linework in the rest of the piece.
As a finishing touch, I think the "Yamino" lettering would look good with a white stroke instead of navy, which seems a little heavy and muted compared to the brightness of the rest of the coloring.

I don't like it but I like it it's just that the overuse of black ponies with rainbows is phenomenal. Just some advice for when you make another pony oc.

Although I haven't read much about the character, Yamiloo's design always looked really interesting. Seeing those traits taken and applied here... Was not expecting it, but it turned out quite remarkable for the effects.
