About: The French Angelfish is one of the largest subspecie among other types of Angelfishes, it is also one of the most popular due to it's special beauty.
When they're young their body is black and covered with 5 yellow vertical lines. As they grow up and turn into adults those lines will slowly fade away only to reveal their true beauty.
Their body turns of a prettier dark blue color and their scales gain a beautiful golden outline that gives the illusion of a glowing fish in the dark.

Young specimens have also a very curious custom that's called "The Cleaning Station" where they gather to clean up bigger fishes like snappers & morays together.

Adults are deeply attached to their mate, but highly aggressive towards other couples. They won't doubt to protect their territory for the sake of their lover.
Their mating system could be considered a gracious and almost angelic dance.
They swim really close to each other near the ground of the reef, then ascend suddenly and descend together making a soft arch.
Everytime they get to the highest point of said arch, they get even closer to the point they touch their abdomens.

Lots of golden decorations hanging from her head fins to match with the back of the dress which you can see proves she's a grown up since there's no trace of the juvenile vertical lines. Don't let her cold looks keep you away, she's a very sweet and affectionate girl on the inside (tho you may need to wear sunglasses until you get used to her obsession for shiny stuff). She wishes to find a lover soon and dance with them every night. Hurry up, once she's taken she will only have eyes for her beloved one! ♥
