Description of blessings and Annie:

The "Ocypode" part of their name means "swift-footed", in reference to their ability to swiftly avoid danger when sensing nearby predators.

The "ghost" in their name comes from their ability to match the color of the sand they inhabit (they can change colors according to the sand!),

making them essentially "disappear" from their predator's sight. They're also primarily nocturnal, further justifying the name.

They're semi-terrestrial, meaning they live mostly on land but need to go into the ocean to moisten their gills.

Ghost Crabs are scavengers; they feed on dead organic matter from the sea and the beaches, keeping beaches clean.

They also prey on baby turtles and turtle eggs.

Optional Personality:

While she looks very threatening and ominous, she's actually kind and affable.

Because of her appearance, most Annies don't want to willingly approach her,

for fear of possibly getting cursed. In trying to convince other Annies that she's friendly,

she picked up hobbies that would make her seem less scary.

Like knitting.
