We were able to go on the skyline tower and we watched as the sun set. Up there it is as if you are in a metal cage up 630 feet off the ground. I brought a tripod but to set it up I would have taken pictures and gotten the cage wires in the picture. Instead i was able to stick my lens on mu camera through the holes in the cage and had to hold the camera steady. I thought I was accomplishing this fairly well and I am pleased with this shot however most of them did not come out well I did not consider being so high in the air on a skiny tower the wind moving it that much but it didRelated content

I did but I was 635 feet in the air on a building that swayed in the wind and had a cage around it. The cage did not allow for a tripod set up and I used the cage to hold my camera still but the whole building moved so i can not get a decent shot from that building I am going to have to try another vantage point instead

back then it would have been much greater to see before the power plants were put in. They use a majoity of the water to produce electricity now and I do believe they say it is 40% lees water now goes over the falls

Breathtaking. I can't believe it. It almost looks like a painting with all of the colors. You've taken your photography to new heights. The water fall looks like a rainbow. Bravo!

impressive shot! I've never seen the falls at night before and since I myself experienced having taken shots being good, but still far from the real awesomeness of the captured event, I can imagine the real beauty of this sight! and fuck yeah, I also know how hard it is to pretend being a two-legged tripod
