1. Her Dad Jouyara jokes why Chihiko is so small was because she was two weeks premature.
Though Dad really wanted a boy since Chihiko was born he has never thought about wanting more children or a son since. They have had a very strong bond.

2. When she was very young and wanted dolls to play with she always wanted dolls that were marketed with horns, or tails or wings than the pretty girlish ones and enjoy watching heroes and villains on TV that didn't look like normal people. As looking normal was boring even if they had a good quirk. This may be were her mutant love really stems from.
The only normal dolls she had were ones given to her by family or friends. Mostly Grandmas. Her parents didn't mind as long as she was happy.

3. Chihiko was quite popular in middle school with guys due to her personality and being cute. She went on a few dates but took lots of council with her cousin Yo on his opinions of the guys. She was always quite taken with mutant type guys but they always seemed to shy away from her popularity and her friends would push her at more pretty guys.
She did have a boyfriend who was a year older and most popular in the school set to go to hero school; Yo had warned her against him but she ignored it. They lasted for a several months but she noticed an uglier side to him that he would pick on mutant type students; this got worse when he failed his hero course exams.

Chihiko dumped him pretty quickly and made it up to all those he had bullied and worked harder with her cousin to get into hero school. Dad was very pleased with this as he didnt like the boyfriend.

Cousin Yo is a very good looking guy and never got why her friends thought he was handsome, holiday photos of him in beachwear was very popular with girls. She caused mass screaming when she got annoyed and said she would just take photos of him in the bath to shut them up. /she didnt/

4. Dad Jouyara is a burly man who runs his own demolition and construction company. Mum Mai is a very part time hotel receptionist as her husband makes a decent enough living to support them all.

Mai loves Japanese Pop idol groups and really loves performing her favourite hits at open old fashioned karaoke bars which was were she met Jouyara - he had one to many drinks and couldn't find the toilet by himself. There is an age gap between the two but from there on they started a relationship and ended up getting married. They had a traditional Japanese wedding and then a big western style reception with big puffy wedding dress then change of clothes half way into new kimono.
Jouyara wont show much affection in public but is very devoted to his wife and she to him.

5. Chihiko loves joining her mum singing and dancing at home, great way to keep in shape building stamina and agility.
Due to Chihiko's quirk she has to be careful not to get carried away and hum and it is the same with Mai. Mai does not have a loud singing voice and when her quirk activates it comes out as a husky whisper that has calming qualities and/or seduction to men only.

6. Chihiko's playful and flirty nature comes from her mother and her mum helped her come up with fun ways to use her quirk at home with Dad's supervision who's quirk is similar - all these things sort of helped fine tune her quirk.
Shaking up milkshakes, desserts or mixing things. Massages into aching muscles, watching a neighbour's cat she worked out she could pur and vibrate as well.
Chihiko got used to her quirk for hero and trivial uses but as she got older she kept being told of more lewd and perverted ways she could use her quirk especially by guys!   Chihiko tries to avoid these "sexy" tips but she will hug and purr very close male friends just to make them blush as she knows it is inappropriate.

Chihiko knows her quirk causing seismic shocks is dangerous and needs to be careful with it's use around around expectant mothers as earthquakes and shaking can bring on miscarriages of early labour causing stillborn or premature babies. She knows it will affect her if she wants to become a mother but doesn't really get it until she is older having become a hero.
One day after a heavy morning of using her quirk she gets painful twinges but shrugs it off, during hero work in the afternoon as she uses her quirk she feels a big jolt of pain it causes her to collapse and be taken to hospital. It was confirmed she had miscarried though she had not known she was pregnant, it upsets her greatly as she feels guilty killing a baby.
It hits her hard that if she ever wants to be a mother she would have to stop her hero work and using her quirk to conceive all the way till birth. But she loves being a hero but wants in the further future be a mother so plays on her mind and guilt for a while. She has a Jizo statue her mother arranged at a temple near the family home.

8. Chihiko has super long hair, she has grown it to try and get her bans to grow out but they never get long enough to match the rest of the length = that's why she mostly pins her bangs pinned back. She gets fed up sitting on her hair by accident or when it gets really tangled. But the super long hair doesnt make her so "plain".
