The original sketch had dancing sweets. But that was a little too much cuteness even for me. Well actually the truth is I didn't know how to make Batlawa and Zalabiya look like the actual sweets they are rather than generic looking lumps with smiles. It would have required more detail or maybe an artist with more skill. XD So yeah, happy Ramadan!It says: Ramadan Kareem at the top btw. My Arabic handwriting sucks. XD

I know absolutely nothing about Ramadan, but this is adorable.
And moreover, it's important. Stuff like this? Making light, but not making fun, of one's culture... I think it's important. It makes other cultures more accessable to laymen. Let's face it, people like cute things. I've know grown men who'll break into lively sing-along sessions of Dancing Queen. I think that's testament to how much people respond to "cute." And I think if more cultures would take themselves just a teensy bit less seriously, more humans would be able to live in harmony. Yeah, it's a cheezy line, but I think it's true.
