So in 2010 I created what's probably my first sweet chibi; Chibi Cupcake Girl . A few months later I uploaded the lineart for others to color; Cupcake Girl Lineart . Since then they've received over 30,000 combined views and the lineart has been downloaded nearly 4,000 times. The success of this chibi and my subsequent sweet chibis inspired me to share more linearts which have since been used on cards, as cross-stitch patterns, tattoos, oil paintings, art classes, coloring contests and fundraisers. It's an honor that people think my lines are worthy for using as birthday gifts and get well cards. I honestly never thought I would be doing graphic design successfully as a side income and I want to thank all you amazing people who follow my art, leave comments, favorite my stuff and enter my contests. It's a total pleasure!

NOW to get to the point; I received many great suggestions for the next coloring contest, but I'm going to have to apologize; I used none of them. I had this idea in my head and it wouldn't let go. I've marked the suggested ideas down for future contests! Why a little frosting chibi? Well, when I made that first cupcake chibi years ago I had an additional character I never ended up coloring or using; the frosting fairy. You can see her original sketch here: Cupcake Girl and Frosting Fairy And I decided I wanted to draw her surrounded by lots of yummy sweets. So I did. 8) I do hope you guys are not tired of coloring my sweet linearts, because this is July's coloring contest! Stay tuned for more info!

You can download it, print it out and/or color it digitally. You can upload the image pretty much anywhere on the web as long as credit and link back is provided! Also, please send me a message or note with a link so I can take a look and favorite the work if it’s on DevArt! I’ll also probably submit it to be added to my club! I love seeing the creativity that goes into the coloring process!

Do not submit your coloring of my lineart as a print, or as a t-shirt on a site like Zazzle or Etsy.
