Tnx my friend for these nice words. According Ur question bout this post- in fact there are two posts in the middle of this barn, and both of them stand on beams 150x150 mm (from front side to bottom one, as we see in picture), and floor is nailed to these beams too. So overall structure is tough enough to serve as firewood shelter.

Oh Janis, it's such a beautiful building.
The foundation of the building is the method of seldom seeing in Japan these days.
It looks nostalgic to me.
Moreover, the form of the basic material is interesting.
The contrast of quiet green and brown does not impress sense of incongruity in the scenery.

Ari, tnx for warm words but to be honest- it isn't a real house- it's a firewood shed. So to make it, U don't need so much work to put into building process. But I made some real houses a time ago.

yes, most of our houses and buildings are of brick. so i guess no big bad wolfs. lol. there are few houses of wood but there are build by the very poor but that type of house is slowly fading.

My favorite part about this is the color and the way the wood changes direction. It's just too beautiful. I would definitely pay you for such work --if i had my own place
