--Kisshu fidgeted nervously while he sat with Kaouru. This moment, right here had to be one of the most awkward that he'd ever felt in his life, even more so than when he confessed to Ichigo and asked her to marry him. But he had to have it done. His children had to know that he had not always been the man he was...
There was a time when he was no better than a monster, a vicious monster. Someone who attacked the woman he loved and made her life feel like a nightmare.
"Son, I have.. I have a confession to express to you.."
Kisshu said as he watched his son look at him.
"Yes daddy?"
He asked curiously. Kisshu felt the knot deepen even more.
"You know, daddy used to be in the space army.."
The alien said to the younger, Kaouru nodded and beamed.
"Oh yes! That's how you and mommy met and fell in love!"
Again, the knot tightened ever so harder.
"...Mommy and I..weren't always in love...in fact. We were enemies. I used to..hurt your mommy a lot before I learned what it meant to truly love someone. To put my life above hers and protect her until I die....Kaouru?"
He looked at the boy, who had tears in his eyes. Kisshu placed his hand on his shoulder and the boy flinched.
"NO DADDY IS LYING DADDY WOULD NEVER HURT MOMMY!"
The boy screamed out as he sobbed into his hands. Kisshu looked away.
"I'm sorry, but you had the right to know, who I was before I am who I am today."
