Geb (Gabab) was a god of the earth and one of the Ennead of Heliopolis. His grandfather was Atum (the self-created creator god), his father was Shu (Shawaw) and his mother was Tefnut (Tafaf-Natat). Osiris(Aasar), Isis(Ashet), Seth(Satakh) and Nephthys(Nabatet-Hatet) were the children of Geb (Gabab) and his sister-wife Nut (Natat). Geb (Gabab) was the third divine pharaoh, reigning after his father, Shu (Shawaw), and before Osiris(Aasar). He also supported Horus'(Harar) right to the throne following the death of Osiris(Aasar). As the Egyptians believed that the pharaoh was the living image of Horus'(Harar), the pharaoh was sometimes known as the "Heir of Geb (Gabab).
