Bueno... saben que nunca dibujé un hombre porque me resulta muy difícil ( muy pocas veces lo hice XD ) y los fondos... ni hablar, un desastre. Pero esta vez decidí intentarlo
Estoy leyendo El pasillo de la muerte/ La milla verde de mi amado Stephen King y bueno, hay muchas escenas que tenía ganas de dibujarlas y me dije "por qué no" ( XD ) Esta es la primer escena que hago, una de mis favoritas, donde encuentran a las gemelas Detterick y a su violador y asesino John Coffey.
Tengo que confesar que estoy MUY contenta de este dibujo y en parte orgullosa porque sinceramente nunca creí que podría hacer algo semejante. Sé que no debe ser para tanto pero para mí si porque me costó mucho pero logré lo que quería ^^ ( bueno... el fondo no me deja muy contenta
) Es por eso que este dibujo va dedicado especialmente a una persona que aprecio mucho y que me ayudó siempre ^^ Muchas gracias!!
Y tambien lo dedico a todos los fans del Maestro Stephen King
y a Stephen King...!!!! Kiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! jajaja Espero que les guste, dejen sus comentarios y el que quiera lo lleve a sus favoritos ^^Ah! y FULL VIEW que me esforcé mucho en los detalles! después subo el lineart a los Scraps para que vean el dibujo en blanco y negro ( se nota que estoy re contenta con este trabajo?? XDDD )

Well. I almost never draw a man, I never draw a background... But now, i tried. This is the scene of one of my favourite books, The green mile by Stephen King ( my master ) I hope you like, i can´t say anymore because my English is bad.

I've seen that movie and it was sweet. but I think he shouldn't have died. Also, They should have told the girls parents who really killed them.

The girls were found naked in the book? Wow, they really were raped...

John Coffey is one of those tragic characters, even though he is a gentle giant he dies in the end

It's strange how Coffey justifies his own execution though. Even if the guards saw a better man, the time period dictates an appeal would HARDLY be taken into serious consideration. Second, since William is dead it's not as though he could confess to the murders so it's likely the family would have sought their own justice because even if the truth was told, there was nothing to back it up and to them it was better to see a n***** fry.
Finally, the story makes it seem in a way that death would release him from his pain because he finds the cruelty of the world and the wickedness of men's hearts to be a pain greater than the electric chair since his power makes him feel it.
Another tragic execution of a wrongfully accused [black] man would be "A Lesson Before Dying" and I was in tears at the end.
