I wanted to make a cool drawing with kind of a 50's vibe to it with a old diner/drive in with cool classic cars parked in the front.I wanted the diner to be named "Yankee's" just for fun and it's also my nickname.
Under the big neon-sign you see a text that says "Artist famous since 1994" which is just for fun and sort of means that I've been drawing since the day I was born and never stopped.
:-DThe cars are from two pictures that I took when I was on at the "Classic Car Meeting" in 2014 here in Stockholm and I thought they fit the drawing perfectly.
It's of a Chevrolet and a Ford, don't know the model or year but the looked very cool and beautiful.
:-DI'm also going to make another drawing with a old diner/Classic Car theme which is going to feature a Ford Mustang which I also took a photo of when I was at the "Classic Car Meeting"!

FYI: The chevy is a 1957 Impala and the Ford is a 1958 Skyliner retractable. The Ford had a hard top that retracted into the hood at the flip of a switch. They only built that style briefly.Β
