Description Small personal response after finding out, McD is only company allowe to sell french fries at at 2012 (XXX) London Olympics..

Aint that just ridiculous? Is it even possible, do they own copyright on french fries or what?

Plus, do we really want company like MC'D to do anything with event like Olympics?

There is a massive opportunity for parody with many of the corporate sponsors. There was also significant donations from some Soft drinks and chocolate bar manufacturers. Alas, the games are 'stupidly' expensive, so cities will whöre themselves out to not be left with massive debts.

Well I doubt that whole london has banned non-McD french fries for the period of olympic games. I assume they got the opportunity to have their stands in the stadiums and controlled zones in exchange for being one of the main corporate sponsors of OG. Modern olympic games are besides sports mainly about the business. About millions of viewers (consumers) all over the world watching olympic events and extreme amounts of corporate money spent for commercial space.
