The mud there is just mad, all those rocks are just coated thick with it and it's so sticky, slippy and...sinky.

I wanted to walk further to the right of where this photo was taken but I couldn't chance moving any further after nearly falling ten times!

That line that you see between the reflection is the mud on the other side - I reckon you'd be pretty stuck if you wandered onto that

I really like this photo, can i ask how you got everything so sharp in the scene ? And have you reworked it in photoshop or something to get those great colors in it ?

Thank you! I recently bought a new lens (canon 10-22 mm) and I think the quality is far better than the old kit lens I was using! I was never able to capture as much detail with it.
As for post processing, I blended three exposures to make it represent the scene as I saw it at the time and to bring back more detail. The colours really were that awesome! (if not more!)

Ok, so it is HDR? it is really great, i really want to be able make such good pictures, but my camera isnt good enough for it

Your camera (Nikon D40?) isn't all that different to mine, I still use a Canon 400d. You do have some nice work in your gallery, just keep at it

Haha! I must admit that before the rain let up and the sun started to set, I was just wanting to be back home. I thought there was no hope in getting any shots that night! Very wrong - so pleased I went in the end!
