- Wind Dancer [active] LVL 1 : When linked with his spirit, Nathaniel’s movements are sometimes trailed with a small current of breeze, or a slightly stronger one in fights, such as throwing out wind blades that can make some small cuts. Wind arrows are also one of his favorite but at the moment it’s too weak to pierce through anything, except paper. It can still cut, however. There is nothing elegant about this skill despite the name, really.

● Quirky || Nathaniel has quite a bit of weird stuff going on for someone who doesn’t know him well, and even MORE once you’ve spent longer time with him. Especially if he meets someone who he can click with.
● Judgmental || He’s the kind to stamp a label on others before they could properly introduce themselves.
● Risk taker || Nathaniel welcomes challenges, otherwise life would be too boring, right? Usually, if there’s a 10% chance of winning, he’ll take it. Adrenaline rush makes him feel alive more than anything.
● Dauntless || With similar context as the previous trait, Nathaniel shows no fear in the face of (most) danger. With the exception that the chance for victory is VERY slim, or that the danger outweighs the reward. If there is nothing good at the end of the trial then why risk his neck for it?
● Selfish || Using others for his benefits? Yep. Prioritising himself over others? Definitely. And Nathaniel feels no shame about this, believing that everyone is selfish anyway and those trying to deny it is pretending to be saint. Nathaniel’s first day in Aesthesia began when he woke up in a hot, desert place, with a stranger feeling him up for…. Whatever reason that Nathaniel didn’t know. He was still groggy and his mind fuzzy, though he soon knew why the stranger was touching him, when the man (the heck are those dog ears on his head?!) suddenly put a hand over his mouth and shushed him, threatening to kill him should he speak of ‘this’. The remaining of the warnings went unheard when Nathaniel looked around him, down at the package that was now tucked under his shirt, seemingly calm despite the situation.

But before the man with odd ears could get away, a bullet pierced his head and he simply collapsed beside Nathaniel’s feet, lifeless. More people with dog ears showed up, apparently they all had tails, too. The attackers introduced themselves as the Desert Wolves, a name which Nathaniel could only imagine belong to an organization of sort. They took the package back, wanted to kill Nathaniel in case he was an accomplice of the dead man.

Nathaniel tried to explain that he had no idea where he was and how he got here, most of his memories were gone. He offered his service to the werewolves, in hope of having a roof over his head and some guidance while he figure out what was happening. But Desert Wolves was a far more complicated place than he thought. They dealt in illegal brawls and tournament gambles, sometimes involved in dealing questionable packages like the one that was shoved onto him by the dead werewolf. Nathaniel was able to adjust to this life quickly despite not having any memory, perhaps a little too quick for comfort.

A year later, the Desert Wolves have been planning to form a union with the Onyx Vipers, in order to strengthen their influence. Eventually the day came to sign the pact, the most important and significant day for both of the clans…

Except that the Wolves’ leader was shot dead by a Viper’s arrow. There was finger pointing, the shock have caused the Wolves to lose control, soon Nathaniel found himself stuck in the cross fires of both the clans. Little did they know that the assassin was from a rivalry gang, Bloodtalons, that wanted to wipe them out, hence they pitched the clans against each other, and picked out the survivors at their leisure.

Very few of the Wolves survived, including Nathaniel. They went into hiding, Akalova was no longer safe for them. They had no choice but to take to the sea in separate ways. Nathaniel had heard a lot about Elledolias, hence that was where he headed.

✚ Earth History:
Nathaniel's younger days were one problem after another. Murdered his abusive father, sent to juvie for it and later dropped out of school because of it. After that he;d hopped from job to job, willing to do anything that wouldn't require an education background. He had worked in a slaughter house for the longest, hence his adeptness in processing a carcass. About 5 years prior to Aesthia, Nathaniel coincidentally hitched hike a truck driven by Elko. These two weirdos clicked and easily became friends, spending their days in the living compartment of Elko's truck. Now and then Nathaniel would get off in certain towns to work some odd jobs for several months, until the truck passed by said town again to pick him up~
