Wow this looks really awesome! I love how you picked a background color that really makes the pink stand out from the rest of the picture. Great job, hopefully one day I'll be able to paint digitally. XD

#I love how you drew the colours and how you made the feathers without going into detail to much! And the background makes it look even better because of the contrast! Good job, dude!

#Pretty work, that combinations of pink colors looks really niice and the shadows gives more detailed work, the background looks very simple but gives more eyecatching to the flamingo

#Very realistic! I like the color you chose for the background, it really brings out the pink in the flamingo. Your digital painting style is really cool and actually resembles an actual painting. Keep it up!

#Again with this one the shape of it looks good. The shading needs to be smoothed out a bit to make it look more completed and finished. I wish I could give you some tips on this but I'm still learning that myself. Good luck!

#I really like the style you used and I love your shading. I am actually working on trying this style of drawing myself (though there is none in my gallery because I am far from decent) but I always start with the base color and then add the other colors on top- so I've started with like the dark pink and then added the lighter colors on and gone back in to add more dark color- is that how you do it? Or do you do it a different way?

Thanks for the comment!
Well, I always start with a line drawing even if the finished product isn't going to have any lines. Then I pick a set amount of colors that I'm going to use for the picture, in this case, Pink, Green and Brown.
And I always make sure that it's a bright color, meaning that it's really deep, but it's usually somewhere in the middle. Like it could go lighter or darker either way. Then I do the shading first and add the light later.
To make the colors for light and dark, I'm only allowed to mix the colors I have with each other and with White/Black. Hope that helped!

That makes a lot of sense- I mainly just do lines.. but I have a hard time letting the lines go when they aren't needed.
That was helpful thanks <3

# Very pretty! c: Simple, yet elegant. The green gradient works very well with the pink of the flamingo; great choice of colour there! A nice use of curves as well; I like how it travels all through the piece, from the beak to the body.

Thanks very much! I love digital painting! Traditional Painting can be fun too...but it's far too messy and inaccurate, yuck I can see those muddy colors I used to make now. XD Thanks again!
