I really have no idea why there are such huge gaps in my drawing career of my drawing things that I like... xD I mean I think the last couple fanart I did just for myself was waay back in 2013 and we're almost in March now, It's ridiculous.
So, a couple of things about this drawing, First of all, the lineart was completely done in Pen. *u* I found this fabulous store near my college called Lee's Art Shop and just going inside it and its so huge just gives me mini heart attacks of happiness. So I bought two nice pens and a non photoblue pencil soo we'll see how it works out.
I think just any colored pencil will end up working though, because for this sketch I used a generic red pencil from a pack of 10 that cost me a dollar at the local Deals so. xD And well, it was just really amazing how nicely pen translates to the computer so well when you apply the right filters to kind of make it less hard (even though i ended up pixelizing it anyway after I was done to get rid of Jpeg artifacts)
So anyhow, one of my hetalia Otps all snuggled up warm and cozy. ;D I didn't even thumbnail this actually I just went straight into it in the cafe listening to black MIDIs HARDCORE.Β

The atmosphere of this piece is nice, with the effects and colors adding to it. However the girl's expression kind of ruins it. For me, at least. Perhaps making her cuddle with him or with a slightly less exasperated look on her face would make it a little bit better.
Either do without the serene atmosphere on both sides or without her expression.
Maybe you could make the effects on his side, but not on her side? You don't have to, it's just what I think.
The anatomy is alright, but his head's a little too big, and her head messes up a little bit as you gradually move towards him in the picture. Her eyebrows also go off of her face entirely, they go into her hair, and onto his forehead.
The lineart's okay, there are a few mess ups and I think that could have been handled a little better.
I like this piece overall, but when you look at the details, it needs improvement. Thank you for submitting, and I hope you thought my critique was fair. If not, please tell me and I will try again. Thank you!!

Thank you very much for your feedback! I think it was totally fair and I do agree that where their faces meet it's a bit botched up. I'll do my best to fix that the next time I do something like this. make sure features stay on their own faces
