Okay, first things first; I LOVE the pose and their expressions are amazing. Just precious these two, and I love their contrasting expressions.
But I need, need, NEED to emphasise how much I freaking love the background! I mean... Damn... The way you've managed to colour the water and the grass... ESPECIALLY THE WATER I MEAN, WHAT EVEN!!!!!?
The way you can still see Birdies colours on the surface, how you've managed to make it look fluid, wet and all shiny. Damn it; it is beautiful!
I really love these two girls; they're beyond cute - I also need tom compliment on Plums dress; perfectly suiting her character and personality; nothing too flashy, subtle and just seems to fit her so so well. 

Oh Birdie... poor girl, you'll just have to get over that fear of yours

That's such a cute illustration!! I love how these two are helping eachother out. Birdy looks really scared of the water though! I like how she's vaguely reflected in the water and the sympathetic look on Plum's face is really nice

one thing i can never get over are those harmonious color blends !! Just the water looks dazzling !

What a fun style of drawing and coloring you have! I love the varied line widths on the characters, and the lineless, painterly approach on the scenery. The expressions and shading and everything are so well done. Great work.

The grass seems to be like 3D, and I love the water effect.
And the characters' expressions, so different but at the same time so similar in their awesomeness
