Oh, god the colouring is so gorgeous!! It's almost as if it's a screenshot from the movie but in a different style<333 I just love how Botje's mouth is all open like that(I can't stand the name flounder..... >.<;; ), and how her hair is floating all over the place~~ The way you suggested the water is just perfect!

I remember feeling a sort of kinship with her when I was younger; my dad's overprotective, like hers is, and we both sought adventure of some form. The difference between us both is, I did so while keeping to the 'rules'. Or trying to. 
Not to mention the movie and I were 'born' in the same year, 1989.
