Sonic 2 is my favorite game i just wish it had a save feature, when i played this world and noticed there was like 5 worlds after it i said forget it!

Obviously, someone *coughEditorialcough* changed the schedule and #215-216 will be taking place in the polar region. Makes me wonder when, if ever, the Oil Ocean story will see light in the comic.

Knowing that these stories are in prep something like 6 months before they see the light of day, I'm sure Ian would plead sheer coincidence. If there were a technical reason why Editorial shuffled a story or two around, I like to think the fans can handle the truth. But Editorial has always played the role of The Man Behind The Curtain and never explains anything. The one exception was when they brought out Endgame: The Director's Cut, and even then they didn't admit that they were doing it because so many fans wrote in asking "WTF HAPPENED?" Never a good sign.

So, um, Paul Kaminski (apparently better known as the impersonal entity called Editorial) did explain why it got shuffled around, and the reason's pretty simple: if the story ran in #215, Bunnie would have been in the desert with Sonic and on Cocoa Island with Antoine and Tails at the same time. Not exactly a case of hiding behind the curtain so THE TRUTH (a simple detail about release order) is hidden from poor fans.

Instead of reprinting the regular series only they've compiled material related to the the Endgame finale. Those include StH 49, SSS 6, "Down and Out in Downunda" from SSS 4 and "Total Re-Genesis" from SSS 5. They should have done this with Mecha Madness instead of putting both parts in different books.
