It exists outside of the known universe, but instead in another reality vastly different from our own. It is not an alternate reality, but due to the probe results, an entirely different one.
Due to the unknown nature, all Multiverse patrol units are to stay away from this zone, as a research team will be dispatched to investigate from a safe distance.

Ok. Let's do a bit more on discussing this world, first. The experiments going on have pretty much irradiated it, I believe, and the only habitable place remaining is the valley in which... the experiment occurred? Close by? Or fairly far out?
and.... this world pretty much crosses two (or more) realities: Yours, and the one the Lir scout happens to be in at the time.

THE PLACE possibly has alot of traversable areas. But the scape obviously was sculpted by something massive. And there seems to be roving fields of harmful radiation, that some hilly areas can protect against. But yeah you are mostly on point. The world only recently became connectable though, around the same time area 18 and 25 started to go south. Something to be looked into later.

The Lir are fairly radiation-resistant, but I have to imagine this stuff is fairly exotic.... their tech is really UP there. I guess I need to figure how it becomes Limited... did we figure they were at least temporarily stuck there?

THe war of armageddon would have involved insane level of magic used as tech. Not tech that seems like magic. Actual magic, used as technology, that seemed so sophisticated, it could blurr into such a category to bystanders. Then there is the hidden lore of the founding, and what lays at the edge of universe m 81. Along with sparse here and there mega structures hidden throughout the inner universe.

Working at it.... holy cow! I've been using the 'force a terrestrial world' function. Ok, question: we discussed this world to an extent. I know radiation from the experiment site has trashed much of the surrounding region, if not continent... with life still existing in deep valleys across the region.. Beyond that, this would have still been a more or less habitable world?
