Description
Although the pattern is very simple and there are some things I am no longer completely satisfied with, this little mummy remains one of my favourite amigurumi. This is the first crochet project I ever did around 4 years ago and he's been cheering up my bookshelves ever since.

This project was made according to a pattern by Tessa van Riet-Ernst, a wonderful Dutch amigurumi designer who's written lots of books with cute and cheerful amigurumi. This one comes from "amigurumi & monsters" (ISBN 978 4391 824 4). You can find her online on woolytoons.com/

Ramses is made from Soft Fun yarn by Scheepjes (3 mm. hook) in 2426 off-white with black 6 mm. safety eyes. With a bit of persuasion he can stand on his own thanks to two cocktail sticks in his legs and plastic beads in his feet.
