Very nice shot of a well fed Gila Monster. I agree they are adorable but disagree on the "deadly" adjective. Although venomous, there are no confirmed deaths due solely to the bite. Some of the early medical reports (prior to ~1940's) used copious amounts of alcohol as an antidote and that contributed to a few deaths in people unaccustomed to huge alcohol intake.

Actually, that is a mexican beaded lizard. Gila monsters are red, beadeds are yellow. Nice shot, though!

Huh. I always wondered what Gila Monsters were! They're one an Apples to Apples card and I only liked it because it was fun to say. Giiiiiila Monster. Now I know. Thank you! Haha.
