Before anything I must say that i saw the design on some random phone case site, so I dun really know whose it is, but anyway the original is not mine
(the original is digital too )so I had my phone stolen at some point and I had to buy a new one, and it came with a plain transparent phone case, which seemed realy dull to me.
In the end, after some time of owning it I thought, why not draw on it
and i was looking totoro pics up and this one came up :www.redbubble.com/people/laure… so i had to try it on my own :3
I used acrylics on this one, and i gotta say that it took me quite some coats for it to not look too transparent and for the paint to not look rough on it. But hey, turned out great
Im also gonna try to coat it with some kind of spray i was told of in a local store, so that the paint will be pretty much "locked" on the case
In other news, I'm terribly sorry for my absence, architecture as a subject is kind of time - consuming, but I will at least try to keep up with everyday sketches

p.s. this is not exactly a tutorial, but it serves to show the process of the creation
