My initial reaction to this one, was what a refreshing blend of old and new. I say that because your overall look and aura is evocative of larger-than-life 50's starlets (I can't express why, it just feels that way), but your make-up and lipstick are more linked to the current day. It is an interesting blend, making for a beautiful shot. Then I took a deeper dive into what I was feeling while looking at it. There is a vulnerability here. Even your sweater seems aware of it, and via its design and cut, it seems intent on crossing itself around you, holding you in a protective embrace. Your face had my mind racing in two different directions. First I was convinced that you were a half second away from breaking into your patented upturned mouth corner, followed by a broad grin, and with luck, a mellifluous laugh. It made me happy. But the more I looked, the more I could feel the possibility that your expression said you were a mere heartbeat away from a tremble, quivering along your jawline, betraying the arrival of a glistening, solitary tear tracking a path of sorrow down your cheek, as you were unable to contain for one moment more what lay just below the surface. That is an incredible duality captured in this shot, that only the rarest of photos can boast. It is something beyond the capabilities of most models. And this is you shooting selfies! Just imagine the heights you are capable of. I will conclude by mentioning there is a haunting sadness, even a quiet desperation, inherent in many of your shots. They make for stunning photos, but the underlying cause worries me. I think you know you are capable of greatness, but have been frustrated that you can't quite find the right path that will get you there. Don't give up. Never give up. If you can fully realize your full potential, you will be the happiest person on the planet. And that is worth pursuing my friend.
