Post processing: Raw processing using Adobe Lightroom 1.1
Neat Image: for noise removal
Light source: indirect sunlight.

Hey mate, I'm thinking of getting a Tamron Di 90mm macro, is it really worth it, how close can you get, could say get a insects face right up close say you can see detail not seen with the naked eye.

it's a pretty sharp lens!
shooting insects with this lens is not a very good idea though (if you want to get very close)
If you're planning on shooting insects, check out the Sigma 180mm
