Just wanted to show off my horns, which I finally painted in a way I like (had to use oils ^_^) but they wear really well, I can shake my head and jump up and down, they don't fall off or really loosen up. I wish I could make these for people, but I can't imagine how I would get them to fit correctly.Horns by Anka

im currently making a pair of tiefling horns and looking at your design, was wondering how it might work or what kind of wire would be best to keep them on my head but some what hidden?

What did you use to make the sort of... Brace thing that goes round your head to actually anchor the horns on? (Couldn't think of a better way to put that, lol) And how did you bend it to such accurate shape?

Ha ha ha ^_^ I shaved it off, a while ago, it is SO much easier to not have to brush and braid my hair all the time ^__^ and I think it looks okay.

You see the odd diagonal indent on the side of my head? its a thin rubbery clear string which holds them on... perhaps you could try something like that? I know it looks odd on my naked head, but you can't see it over hair! =^^=

It took me a second to sort out where the string was that you were talking about, Those are some really cool horns! Mine are mostly paper mache, over a loose framework made of assorted things. They're very light, but I don't think that a string like that could hold them on... Though I am working on a second pair, probably to be long and straight. ^_^ We'll see how they come out.

If I ever find a way to size them correctly via mail, I will so make you a pair! I'm thinking at the moment maybe I could send the wire to people and have them finish bending it... but it would make for an oddly-shaped package... {sigh}

And have them take a web cam or something to have you look to see if it is on them correctly

I was thinking actually now, that it might be possible, I'd just have them trace the curve of the back on paper and send the paper, and measure the distance of a few things and send that too... I may be able to do these for people, I'll definitely post if it turns out I can.

No ^_^ They'd definitely fall off if I head butted people, and actually, someone asked a bit ago so I posted a bunch of photos (they're mostly in scraps now, or deleted)
