Description Love this one - hope you like it.

EDIT: cut off the bottom half, so you can no longer see her T and her A all at once. Bummer, I know...
Further EDIT: the eyes! THE EYES!!

Is this peg Bundy?

Nope. My (rather ugly) take on Peg can be seen here: yatz.deviantart.com/art/Yes-ma…

She looks good, my men. Could you put a shiny black catsuit and muscles on peg?

There's a buffed-up Peg in the works - though I doubt she'll be wearing much (let alone a catsuit).

Yeah, it's well done that one. Nice lighting on that arm resting on her hip. And although it's rther palin that background seems to work rather well too. Again, must be the light source.

This is what drives me crazy: doing lighting right is what makes the difference between a decent painting and an excellent one; I've known that for years - but STILL I avoid getting down to really learning this and utilizing it in my work! AAAAAARRRGGGH!!!!

Why don't you try a really bold lighting scheme? You have all those wonderful undulating muscles and form in your drawings but maybe you need a more intense light source. Like the figures you illustrate have them standing outside or in a room with only one window as light. I would imagine with your subject matter and proper lighting those gals would jump right off the page with out the aid of 3D glasses. That's the problem( I feel) with glamour photgraphy......a lot of it anyway. It's all studio lit stuff. And it looks flat. I figure if you show of the human form give it the right presentation and show it off with good lighting. I reckon you know how to draw those girls like the back of your hand so put a differnt spin on it. But then again a lot of your work is humour based and probably dosen't need dramatic lighting. Maybe just one of those pin-up images then. And I'm saying it doesen't need dramatic lighting all the time but like I said with your subject matter..............should look pretty sweet.

I totally agree that I should try it - this would bump me up two levels, I think. but the thing is I'm petrified of trying it by myself (did I mention I'm 30% psychotic?), and evry time I tried to take art lessons it ends with me running away screaming, sometime after the second hour (see previous note).I think this particular issue has something to do with my color blindness - my method of painting is by doing greys and then using color sampling to automatically colorize it; in that technique I have to add on the shading AFTER I do the colorizing, and I just can't get the sense of the resulting color... This is very frustrating, though I guess I could get it by trial and error - which brings me bach to that pshyco thing... Maybe there's a pill for this? Preferably a 9 mm one!

Did I mention that in Hebrew we use the same word for "pill" and for "bullet"? In the army it was cause for many an hilarious misunderstanding...!

You've been doing artwork all these years and your bloody colour blind? That's freakin incredible!! Must get pretty frustrating for you then at times.

Well, just try simple black and white for the intense light source image. And go from there! Go ink( pen) or just washes and see how that works. The work your way up to colour.

your technique sounds very much like the great Richard Corben who has a similar process only you do it in the more difficult reverse.

Bullet and pill? The same? Ihad to be a millitary pharmacudical................too much stress!!!!

"Frustrating" does not even begin to describe it... never touched colors - from kindergarten till I was 44 - and then I discovered Photoshop
I keep telling myself that I need to sit my ass down and do some trial & error with all this stuff, but I never seem to "find the time" - meaning: I usually do have a lot of time on my hands, but I'd just rather spend it doing something else... The sad, sad truth is, I've just lost the fire. It burned for 40 years, and I just used it to roast (figurative) marshmallows...

Lololol.........................somehow I can relate to that last bit but not quite so creatively!I haven't lost the fire.......at the end of the day drawing - if I do good work and people are happy - it pulls me from the gutter.

Love the look of her hair. The only thing I could suggest is that I think the space between her bicep and forearm should go down a bit lower.
