WITH GREAT POWER COMES GREAT RESPONSIBILITY!Wow! Here comes a new challenge!!!
I’m not sure how long I spent for this artwork. I’m only able to remember it took me a dead long time~~! It is a new challenge for me, coz the figure of Spider-Man actually I drew by referring a figure from its comic [link] , and then change the comic style into realism style.
It’s really a tough work ‘coz comic style has exaggerated some of the body parts, especially the muscles. So I have to refer to an anatomy tool book and change the exaggerated parts into the “right way”. And some lighting has to change also as the form of web-lines on his costume is totally different between the comic version and realism version.
Background: Statue of Liberty Thanks to for his precious guide to design the background.
Spiderman jump from Statue of Liberty, I think it is a new concept for Spiderman! I got this brainstorm when I was looking for the scenery photo of New York City. And then I just able to recall that Statue of Liberty is in New York!
( Hmm…I’m wondering why Statue of Liberty never appeared in both the series of “Spider-Man” movie.

Thanks. Yep, the costume is the hardest part to draw, as i had to draw square by square. I'm not sure how long the overall drawing took me - it's just a damn long time, haha!

I love that artwork. But I think the reason why Spider-Man does not swing around SoL is because there's no other building nearby.
I never visit New York but isn't SoL surround by water?

interesting question..i wonder why there wasn't a scene of spiderman jumping from the statue of liberty. it almost seems as if there was one just because he jumps off of anything that's super high.
i seriously can't find any mistakes in this drawing, it's absolutely perfect! spiderman rocks.

Nice point! Spiderman isn't just a spider, but a monkey - a naughty monkey which likes climb up here and jump down there.

Fantastic pencil work, man. the anatomy is in a great condition, Spider-Man is like one of the hardest character to draw because of his costume and you managed to finish off!

Yea, the costume really got on my nerve! 
'Coz when i was drawing the sketch, i refered to an anatomy tool book. The book is my first art tool book i bought from bookstore; It's my best 'assistant' ever when i need to draw human, haha!
