This is my submission to =Sythgara 's Easkull Contest , which was held in the late celebration of her getting the copyright certificate her original race - easkulls. I think that alone is such an amazing achievement, especially with a race such as this! Congratulations :')

So here's Thoryniel (Thorn), son of the easkull general, a captain of his own regiment. I wanted to depict him in his younger years, contemplating his life at his favourite place, where he can escape the pressures of society.

I'm not an expert with digital but I feel like I'm slowly improving. I spent quite a lot of time on this piece, but I think it's definitely paying off. For the background and rocks I found a reference for both, painted over those and overlay my own colour scheme. I'm happiest with the way his head turned out; don't even know how much time I spent on this though.. probably more than 10 hours :')
