Old school Charcoal Pencil(used half of the charcoal pencil to coat the entire background)...i did this drawing years ago that's why it looks somehow vintage...

Love the shadows on this. very nice.
But there is one thing I see...on your title, it's Hakusho, not Hakushu. (sorry, I just get real finicky on animes I really like).
