Description "Ye Fan, why is your art so lack of details? it always looks like its unfinished."
Since i posted the "Purple Shower" last week, most of my friends give me the comment like this.

So i decide to slow down the final work on my manga, shift more time on a single artwork. Usually i can finish i piece under 2 hours, but this time

"Dawn at Rocks" took me over 5 hours, the results is amazing, i won't call it finished, cause im simply have had enough, and i still have few pages of my manga to finish.

I hope you like it, though it might still need more polish.

You aren't kidding, there is so much detail here, no wonder it took so long. It looks awesome.
As for the whole lacking in details, I've always thought it was a cool style. Your artwork still gives off great atmosphere with less detail. So personally, I'm happy to see either!

Thanks for that mate ( ・∀・)

I did find my style here and there,  great atmosphere you say, i feel the same way(not self-glorifying, people need to know what they good at...err..right?), now i want more (´∀`*)

Different people carry different perspective towards art piece, sometimes i do have a feel that my artwork lack some sort of thing, few people pointed out it just seems unfinished.
this kind of "Lack of details but fast producing" is actually the negative product of my early days self-studied on concept art, is poison.
which is i never train myself to possess a good basic skill on value, color and so on, the only thing ive learn is rushing, and that's not what concept art really for.

was trying to attend these guy's class week ago:

Yup they doing art training too, but both of em are full, have to wait til the July, all i can do now is keep struggling with 4cahn's daily value sketch challenge, get a part time job and do my manga.

bugger me ┐(´Д`┌

That interesting to hear how you came to your style with this whole quick approach about it. Although some people feel it is unfinished, being quick is also a positive, especially when it comes to commissions. If people like this more rough style, they will be getting some much faster.

It will be interesting to see you take the path and learn to go more in depth with your artwork. I do hope you continue to do both though, because for me simplicity is the best at times.
