Hermlock was a sonduron , a group of leaf loving aliens. Their cousins were the more brutal cybertronians, who loved battle . They hoped that the cybertronians wouldn’t interfere with their peaceful lives, but exactly that happened. General Ironhide led a battle there . The place was in flames, burning to the ground. Only a few escaped .

Although Hermlock should’ve appreciated life, he did not. moving to cybertron to make money being a public pacifist. Behind the scenes though he would kill 27 young bots if it meant he could afford a new paint job. He teamed up with bludgeon out of boredom eventually .
