Early in Family Guy's development, some of the characters had different color palettes and different names.Lois, based from the wife of the same name in The Life of Larry pilot, used to have brunette hair. She became a blonde in Family Guy's "Death Has a Shadow" pilot, before finally becoming a carrot-top for the final series.
Bonnie was originally called Debbie (Lois slipped that out in "Love Thy Trophy"), and was introduced as a brunette. She later switched to ebony.
Funny how characters change over time, isn't it?

I forgot Bonnie had brown hair. I didn't know she was Debbie. I always thought Bonnie was Hispanic because of her black hair.
