Description
(click download to view)Reintroducing Taren, an original character of mine (sans her tail). She's the sole survivor of a disease ridden planet far away from Earth, genetically altered to start the race over again on an uncontaminated planet: ours.
More on her back story later. I wanted to try my hand at a simple animation, and came up with this.
Done in Photoshop and Adobe Imageready.

Bah, I should have commented on this earlier...
Cute idea, but I think the animated side would have worked better if you omitted the shading on her belly at least (of course, once her belly is devoid of shading, it'd look out of place if the rest of her were shaded...) since the cross-hatch shading (is that the term?) doesn't animate well (too different from frame to frame). Otherwise it's pretty nice.
In terms of the art, her clodhoppers look a tad big, and her toes are kinda big and poorly defined. It's like one toe's disappeared, and its mass has been assimilated into the other toes. They ate it! Also, there's something, I can't put my finger on it, about her face. Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Better than other simple animations I've seen. Most I've done are a couple of gif animations using sprites myself.
