A work in progress Elena pic. Critiques highly appreciated
Edit: reworked it a bit (first draft to the left, newest to the right). I'm trying to give her a sense of motion, as if she's bounding around, and this shot is in the middle of a landing.
Tell me what you think. What's good? What needs fixing? What seems odd? Again, critiques highly appreciated

Sorry, totally belated comment (I was kinda waiting for the finished product to comment, but if I critique now the end stage might look better ^_^; )
Her legs look absolutely fantastic, it really captures the automaillyness (or Texhnohlyzeness) of the limbs. It's great to see all the mechanical joints, as well as her toes... I think Saburo's drawn her legs maybe once, and objects to doing so ever again because he found it too difficult.
In general the pose does look as if it's in motion, but it's hard to tell what motion. It looks kinda like she's doing ballet, which totally isn't Elena's style ^_^; Plus, her belly is just gonna 'cause havoc if she starts jumping around. If they're lucky, lamps will be the only things broken.
Like her face, the expression is a nice smirk. Her hair could stand to be a bit more gelled, though, Elena likes the spikes.

I do agree, it would be a tragedy if her legs were to buckle under the strain of her added weight. One more for the long list the poor girl has already endured.

Artistically, it looks great, but physically, I think her right leg needs to be extended in front of her. Considering the direction of motion, she would need her landing point to be well ahead of her CG. hmm... that's my thought.
