This is a picture of the mask I made for my brother's Zeruel costume from Neon Genisis Evengelion.I made it a very long time ago so it is not really an example of my best work, but it was very fun to make.
It is made of plaster and painted with acrylics. The lines sort of framing the face are carved as well as lightly painted to give it more shadow. The eyes and mouth are both empty, with fitted black material on the inside, so the person wearing it can breath and see out of it, without their eyes being able to be seen.
