Description
This is a little Castform Charm, from Pokemon, I was commissioned to make for someone, as part of a charm bracelet.The charm is completely handmade out of polymer clay and painted with acrylics. It is about three fourths of an inch tall, as you can see by comparison with the dime.
Castform is such a funny looking Pokemon, those little ball arms(?) in the front I've always thought were odd, but he's so cute, I like him for some strange reason. This was a fairly straight forward charm to make, and I've always got extra energy whenever I go into making a Pokemon charm, the time just flew by sculpting him, I can't wait to make his other forms, someday...

I use cheap little kid craft brushes for the bulk color, and synthetic fine tip brushes for detail, they last a lot longer than animal hair.

I just uploaded mine to my Diamond pack via Pal Park. It now has...twelve ribbons, I think? Something like. It killed in the beauty contests, and it loves it so. ^_^

It takes as much work to raise a contest pokemon as it does to raise a pokemon for battle. Depending on the contest they have to have the right personality and enjoy the right flavor of pokeblock, and then you have to check their moves for contest value, and use strategy in the appeals category. I like the Hoenn contests better than the Sinnoh contests. There's something about dressing a pokemon with little bits of fluff and makeup that kinda bugs me. XD

I was wondering if you use a specific kind of shiny glaze? cause when I paint on my clay with acrylics and glaze with regular sculpy glaze it doesn't really look that great ^^,

I am not really happy with the glaze I use either, I am actually trying out a few different kinds at the moment to see which one works best, I'm planning on writing a little review once I'm done experimenting, I'll be sure to post a journal about it once it's ready. ^_^
