I'm actually really, really proud of this! Normally, I can't draw Clank...at ALL! But he looks fine here (I don't know what you think though). I'm really pleased with myself.
I still would like to get better at blood, but I think I'm improving bit-by-bit

I have two guesses: 1) Ratchet lost the battle with Hunter and Hunter is about to take over his body...
2) Clank was the first to learn the truth about Ratchet's condition and after getting it confirmed from the Lombax himself, is comforting him as Ratchet finally spills the beans about Hunter and what he's doing.

Β If you mix the two guesses together, you've got it right! Ratchet lost the last battle against Hunter, and as Hunter tries to take over Ratchet's body, Ratchet tells Clank everything that's happened.

I pictured something similar to your idea, but mine's a bit different. Knowing Ratchet, being the hero that he is, he'll probably sacrifice his life first before he even lets Hunter take over...

Yeah, he properly would do that as he wouldn't want Hunter to take over and kill his friends. Because if that happened then Ratchet wouldn't be able to do anything able it as Hunter had fully taken over his body.

Clank: *hides behind Alister's leg*
Hunter: *turns to Alister* YOU! *grins and points the blaster at Alister's head* I've been waiting a LONG time for THIS!

Alister: *wide-eyed* What the? No, it can't be--Ratchet, what's happened to you?
Hunter: Ratchet isn't HERE anymore! *fires a shot at Alister's head, but misses*
Alister: What are you talking about?! Why are you acting like this?! *feels a tug on his pants leg; looks down at Clank*
Clank: Alister, it is urgent that we leave away from here right now! I will explain everything as we make our escape!
*Clank and Alister both dodge a few more blaster shots*

Hunter: OH NO! NO ONE IS GOING ANYWHERE! *shoots at Alister who dodges them by an inch* Damn, I'm better with my knives, not this stupid gun!
Alister: *looks over to the door and then to Clank; grabs Clank and runs for the front door*
Hunter: GET BACK HERE!

Alister and Clank: *run out the door; Alister shuts and locks it behind them before dragging Clank behind the house toward his ship*
Hunter: *kicks the door down and looks around* Damn it! Where are they? *hears engines whirring and turns around to see Alister's ship lifting into the sky* AZUMITH!

Alister: *drives the ship through space, heading to Axiom City to tell Dr. Jackson what's happened; turns to face Clank for a few seconds* Clank, what happened to Ratchet?
Clank: That's not Ratchet, that's-
*BANG!*
Hunter: *flying Aphelion towards Alister's ship while trying to shoot the engines out*

Hunter: *through Aphelion's radio* HAHAHAHAHAHA! So...you two really think you can escape me huh? Well, you won't get away that easily. *fires another blast at Alister's ship*
Alister: Ratchet, why are you doing this? What's wrong with you?
Hunter: Seriously, Clank hasn't told you yet? I'm hurt. *fires another blast, Alister dodges* I told you once old man, Ratchet isn't here anymore. The name's Hunter and I'm gonna make sure you and everyone else who tried to stop me never live to see another day!
Alister: What are you--*BANG! ship wobbles from blown-out engine; Alister and Clank tumble through Terachnos' atmsosphere*

*Alister's ship crashes on Terachnos, parts of the ship goes flying and the area is quickly turned into a wreckage*
Alister: *stumbles out the ship along with Clank; he holds his head from a hammering headache and looks around his surroundings* It's lucky we didn't crash far from Axiom City.
Hunter: *lands the ship near the crash and hops out of the ship with a blaster in one hand and a knife in the other* Oh, Azimuth!
Alister: *grabs Clank* Come on!

*Alister and Clank run through the outskirts of Axiom City with Hunter hot on their heels, shooting at them with his blaster*
Hunter: You can run, but you can't hide! You two can't dodge me forever! *They run into Axiom City and cover about six miles when Alister and Clank reach the hospital. One of Hunter's shots hit Alister in the back, the force making him stumble into the doors which open automatically. Dr. Jackson is seen in the lobby*
Dr Jackson: *approaches and helps Alister up* Alister, are you alright? What happened?
Alister: It's Ratchet...he--Β Β Β Β Hunter: Well well well, visiting the doc again huh? I'll never forget how many times you kept me in this place! *raises his knife* I'm gonna ENJOY killing all of you! *laughs evilly*

Dr. Jackson: *turns to the receptionist quickly* Call for help now! *faces Hunter again*
Hunter: *points the blaster at the receptionist* Call them and you're dead.
Dr. Jackson: Ratchet, you need to-
Hunter: RATCHET'S NOT HERE! Honestly, how many times do I have to repeat that?! *grins at Dr. Jackson, Alister and Clank* Don't die too quickly, I want my fun to last.

This is too cool! I think we just created a whole alternate ending here. It'd be nice if you wrote it down and saved it just in case you want to use it in your story or something.
Hunter: *stalks menacingly toward Dr. Jackson, Alister, and Clank* Hmm, who should I start with first? *points his knife at Clank* Should it be you? *points at Dr. Jackson* Or what about you? *sees the receptionist getting off the phone and throws the knife which impaled her right between the eyes, killing her instantly* I told you NOT to call anybody!
*Dr. Jackson, Clank, and Alister all stare with horror-struck faces* Hunter: *smirks* Now...where was I?

I think we certainly have! I properly will as I was thinking something similar to this for the ending.
Dr. Jackson: You need to stop right this instance! *watches Hunter approach closer* Stop! Now!
Hunter: *stops in front of the three of them and spreads his arms out* Why should I? Hmm? You all deserve this for keeping me in. Now, who wants to die first? *raises the blaster at Alister's chest* Age before beauty, general *grins*

*stray blast hits Hunter in the shoulder, Lyrica steps forward with her own blaster* Lyrica: What's going on in here?
Hunter: *stands up and sees Lyrica* Oh, it's you. I was wondering when we'd meet again. *grins*
Lyrica: *gasps* Hunter?!
Hunter: *grins wider* Finally! It's about time somebody recognizes me!

Hunter: *laughs evilly* I certainly have! And there isn't anything you can do about it! He's long gone!
Alister: *snarls in a threatening way*
Hunter: *hears the growl come from Alister* Aww, what's the matter, general? Sad that you've lost your best friend and now the son of the friend? *grins*

Lyrica: You bring Ratchet back this instant!
Hunter: *laughs evilly* You would like that wouldn't you? *frowns and points his blaster at Lyrica* Read. My. Lips woman. I'm in control now. I like being free. I can do whatever I want when I want with nothing holding me back now.Β I've waited too long to show my true colors to the universe and youΒ think I'm gonna give up my freedom now for thatΒ pathetic excuse for a weakling you call a hero? Please.
Alister: You--you monster!

Hunter: Ah, now that wasn't nice, was it general? Hee hee! Don't you like what I've done to your deceased best friend's son?
Alister: *growls at the question*
Hunter: My, my. You're quite the one to tease, aren't you? Maybe I should leave you for last *grins stretches to his ears; looks over to Lyrica with the blaster still pointing at her* Maybe you should go first.

Hunter: *pulls trigger, blaster clicks* What the hell? *checks ammo count* Damn, not a good time to run out of ammo.
Clank:*Β tackles Hunter to the floor* Everyone quickly! We must apprehend Hunter immediately!
Hunter: *whacks off Clank* Get off of me, you walking pile of scrap! *Lyrica fires a couple more shots, Hunter rolls out the way and jumps to his feet. Alister sets his wrench to maximum and fires an electric blast, but Hunter ducks* C'mon, you'll have to do better than that!

Alister: *charges at Hunter, swinging his wrench while firing electric blasts*
Hunter: *dodges every attack with ease* HA! You really think you can--!
Alister: *Hunter's neck is placed between one of the wrench's heads and slams into the wall*
Hunter: *grips the wrench's head* Would you really kill me? You'd kill Ra-- *feels the wrench close in on his neck but manages to grin with a dangerous glint in his red eyes* You wanna play? *pulls out a knife* I'll play! *kicks Alister in the stomach causing the elder to stumble backwards*

*Hunter charges forward, knife raised but Alister parries his swing with his wrench. They engage in brief swordfight-like combat before locking their weapons against each other, pushing back and forth in a domination of strength. Alister gets the upper hand at first, but begins to tire. Hunter notices this, grins, and kicks him hard enough in the chest to knock the wind out of him.*
Hunter: *crosses arms*Β You're losing your touch, general.
Alister: *holding his chest* I'm disappointed in you. How could you do something like this? If Kaden was alive, he'd be ashamed.
Hunter: *frowns slightly* Oh, really?

Hunter: *slowly strolls over to Alister with daggers in his eyes* Well, you see, I'm not Ratchet. Therefore, that sorry-for-an-excuse of a Lombax, Kaden, has nothing to do with me *steps in front of Alister* And neither do you *raises his knife* How about I give you a family reunion? *swings the knife down but Alister uses his wrench to block the attack with the strength he has*
Alister: I'm not giving you the pleasure, I'm afraid *snarls and bares his canines*
Hunter: *pushes down on his knife which makes the wrench lower over time* You can't keep this up. So, why don't you just give in? Don't you want to finally be with the Lombaxes... Forever?

*Lyrica sneaks up behind him, raising the butt of her blaster*
Hunter: *to Alister* Look at you. A washed-up general laying on the floor in defeat. How can you possibly be disappointed in me when everything that happened in the past twenty years of your life was YOUR FAULT? Do I need to remind that it was YOU who betrayed the Lombaxes with your trust in Tachyon? YOU who gave away all the Lombax secrets so Tachyon can destroy them and cause Kaden to stay behind and get killed? *eyes glint with rage*Β You claim he would be ashamed, but he wouldn't be ashamed of me--he'd be ashamed of YOU!
Alister: *bows his head in guilt; Hunter's knife moves closer to his heart* Hunter: And now it's high time you paid the price...

Lyrica: *swings the butt of her blaster against Hunter's head making him loose his balance and crash to the floor on his side* Rule number one: never let your guard down.
Hunter: *holds his head as it bleeds slightly from the impact and slowly gets up* You. Stupid. Annoying. Idiotic. MARKAZIAN! DON'T GET IN MY WAY! YOU'RE LUCKY I HAVEN'T KILLED YOU YET! BUT THAT'S GONNA CHANGE NOW! *throws his knife in Lyrica's direction, fast enough so she can't dodge it. The knife hits her in the chest, right between the heart and lungs. Hunter stomps up to her, snatches the blaster from her hand and raises it so the barrel is pointing at her head* Sweet dreams *grins evilly*

Clank/Dr. Jackson/Alister: NO! *watch helplessly as Hunter pulls the trigger; Lyrica's body falls*
Hunter: *cackles gleefully and points the blaster at Dr. Jackson* Your turn! *shoots Dr. Jackson point-blank in the chest*
Alister: *on his knees growling in rage* You sick...you won't get away with this! *Hunter crouches on all fours just as Alister fires another electric blast. Hunter leaps over the blast and the carcasses, somersaulting in mid-air and lands in the lobby on his feet* Hunter: HAHAHAHAHAHA! Catch me if you can Azumith! *takes off for the back exit*

Alister: Oh no you don't! *turns to Clank quickly* Call up the police now! *chases Hunter down the street firing electric blasts. Hunter still manages to dodge every attack easily while running really fast* Damn, I need to be faster *engages his hoverboots and speeds up to Hunter*
Hunter: *notices these actions from the corner of his eye and turns on his own hoverboots* Try again, general! HAHAHAHA! *flies down the street, knocking everyone in his way to the floor while still gaining speed. He fires the blaster behind him, trying to take Alister's legs out or shoot him in the chest*

Alister: *dodges blaster shots while still firing electric blasts at Hunter* Get back here! *Hunter and Alister weave past hover cars and duck through other incoming traffic while Hunter is still shooting down nearby pedestrians. They cover about three blocks shooting and dodging each other's attacks until Hunter's blaster runs out of ammo*
Hunter: Damn it! Again?! *gets hit in the back by one of Alister's electric blasts; he falls to the street, hoverboots deactivating* Heh, score one for the general. *He gets to his feet and runs around a corner only to stop dead. A squad of Galactic Rangers are standing in front of him, guns cocked and aimed. Alister stands several feet behind him, raising his charged-up wrench*
Galactic Ranger: FREEZE!
Hunter: *frowns* Oh, great.

Galactic Ranger: LAY DOWN YOUR WEAPON AND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD!
Hunter: *bares his sharp canines but doesn't comply*
Galactic Ranger: DO IT NOW!
Hunter: *still doesn't move*
Alister: *slowly walks towards Hunter, who has his back to him, with his wrench still raised* It's over, Hunter. Why don't you just drop the blaster and turn yourself in? What other option is there? *it now a few feet away from Hunter* There's nothing else you can possibly do. You've run out of ammo. You've got no more knives. Nothing *now a couple feet away from him* Give it up.

Hunter: *bows head; Clank steps from behind the ranger chief*
Clank: General Azumith is correct. You have no more options. Surrender your weapon now and come with us quietly.
Galactic Ranger: THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING!
Hunter: *drops blaster, balls his fists* You think...I'm just gonna give up, do you? *feels the heat of Alister's wrench on his neck* but, there's one thing you don't know about me: *pulls out his wrench and smacks Alister across the head before dodging a few shots from the rangers and pulling out the RYNO V*Β I DON'T GIVE UP WITHOUT A FIGHT! *pulls the trigger*

Galactic Ranger: TAKE COVER MEN! *the Galactic Rangers hide behind corners and cars to avoid the RYNO V blasts. The chief contacts the police department* We need backup NOW!
Hunter: HAHAHAHAHA! YOU'VE MESSED WITH THE WRONG PERSON! *too busy firing at the Galactic Rangers to not notice Alister get back up, but his ears pick up the sound of Alister's wrench fire electric blasts. Stops firing and back-flips over and behind Alister, shoots the elder's legs which makes him collapse to his knees, and presses the barrel of the RYNO V against the back of Alister's head* IF ANYONE MOVES, YOU'LL BE HAVING OL' LOMBAX BRAINS FOR SUPPER!

*Galactic Rangers take aim at Hunter. Hunter tightens his hold on the barrel as warning*
Ranger chief: NO! HOLD YOUR FIRE!
Alister: *pants from blood loss* Hunter, stop this. Please...think about what you're doing.
Hunter: SHUT UP!

Hunter: You deserve this! For everything you've done to the Lombax race! Don't you remember? I'm someone who kills bad people... And you're one of them.
Alister: Yes, I know it was my mistake. But I learnt from it. My mistake at the Great Clock made me realize what I did wrong. And--
Hunter: BE QUIET! *smashes the barrel of the gun against Alister's head which makes Alister fall to the floor, bleeding badly from the head* I've had enough of you! *charges up the RYNO V and points it back at Alister's head* If Kaden didn't save Ratchet, I wouldn't be hear; so tell him thanks for this wonderful life when you see him *grins evilly*

*Alister closes his eyes as Hunter slowly pulls the trigger. He gets halfway before hearing police sirens. Hunter looks up and sees more Galactic Rangers jumping out defense ships overhead*
Hunter: *looks at Alister and throws him to the ground* Looks like luck is on your side today, but I'll be back.*throws down a flare bomb; everyone shields their vision from the light until it fades. Clank gapes, seeing Hunter nowhere in sight*

Galactic Chief: *talks to his troops* I want you men to search the city - leave no stone unturned. We have to find him *the troops go in groups and do a search party for Hunter*
Clank: *to Chief* What will you do to Hunter if you find him, sir?
Galactic Chief: Take him in and lock him up. However, if he doesn't co-operate, then we'll shoot him on sight.
Alister: You're going to kill him?!
Galactic Chief: I'm sorry, but did he not just try to kill you moments ago?

*Galactic chief marches off; Alister slumps to the wall*
Clank: Is something the matter, General? *Alister says nothing; tears form in his eyes*
Alister: I--I'll be fine. It's just...it's hard for me to believe Ratchet is gone.
Clank: *sadly* You miss him too, don't you?
Alister: Yes, he was like a son to me--strong-minded, innocent, persevering...I never thought I'd lose another person so important in my life--not like this.
Wow. We were so busy with this I wasn't aware we had somebody looking at everything we made up!

Clank: I cannot believe we did not see it earlier-- Hunter was giving us signs through Ratchet by giving him those wounds he kept receiving. We could have prevented all this happening if we did something sooner.
Alister: *tries to stand up with the help of his wrench for a make-do crutch* Maybe there's a way to bring Ratchet back. If we get to Hunter first before the Galactic Rangers, then we could possibly help Ratchet return somehow.
Clank: Should you not get nanotech for your legs first?
Alister: ...Right. We'll do that, and then find Hunter.

*Meanwhile Hunter is seen hiding behind an alley wall several blocks away, watching the Galactic Rangers march down the streets*
Hunter: Hmph, well my work here is done. *sees a teleporting pad ahead* I better get out of here while those rust buckets are occupied *sprints to pad and stands on it, where it teleports him back to Aphelion*
Clank: *sees Aphelion flying out the atmosphere* There he is! He is escaping.
Alister: We need to go after him, but my ship is wrecked and we have no other way off the planet.
Clank: Perhaps one of the rangers can assist us...

Alister: Good idea, Clank *spots a Galactic Ranger and quickly walks up to him* Excuse me, but my any chance, do you have a spare ship we could borrow?
Galactic Ranger: We do *eyes Azimuth* But would do you need it for?
Alister: My ship got wrecked in a crash, and we have no other way to get off the planet. We'll give it back to you as soon as possible.
Galactic Ranger: Weeeeell... I suppose you could. So as long as we get it back in one piece.
Clank: Thank you, sir. You can trust us with your ship; do not worry.
*Alister and Clank hop into the ship and fly after Hunter*

*Hunter flies through space, scrolling the list of planets in his nav unit* Hunter: Hmm, where should I go next? *Aphelion's warning light beeps and he sees an incoming ship on his radar* I never saw this ship before.
Alister: *on radio* HUNTER!
Hunter: *scowls, turns on radio* What do you want Azimuth?
Alister: Listen to me! You need to stop right now! I'm warning you to desist your quest!
Hunter: My, my. You're persistent in stopping me aren't you?
Alister: Look, Clank and I just want to talk to you! We're not looking for a fight!
Hunter: *chuckles* You think I believe that? I know what you're trying to do. You want to talk to me to get through to Ratchet, but I told you already: he's not coming back. So while you still have your life, I suggest you call off your pursuit before I change my mind about sparing you today.

Clank: Hunter, please understand. We do not wish to fight you. We just want to talk things out, and figure out a way that you and Ratchet could--
Hunter: Ratchet HAD his life! And now, I'm having mine. There're nothing you can do about it, so why don't you two just give up? Just turn around, fly back home, and stay outta my way... Or, you can die right here, right now.
Alister: Hunter, please!
Hunter: Oh, look at this! The great General Azimuth is begging me to stop! *grins* Thought I'd never see the day.
Alister: If you're not going to co-operate, then neither will we.

Hunter: *types commands into dashboard computer for back missile launcher* Is that a threat?
Alister: It depends on how you take it.
Hunter: So you two have made up your minds.
Clank: That we have...
Hunter:...and you shall die. *hits a button and launches a missile barrageΒ at the Galactic ship*
