Here we have a Pokémon Battle Meme for my OC series "Pokémon Altered". Here we have a battle between my OC Molly Lawrence and the Substitute Elite Four member and her old cousin Annabelle Van Daruk(OC) as part of Molly's Champion Assessment.

This sequel to: Pokemon Altered: Paldea Elite Four Reveal

(Exposition)
After collecting all eight Paldea Gym Badges and passing the interview of the Champion Assessment Molly is ready to battle the Elite Four and become a Champion Ranked Trainer. After defeating Rika, Poppy, and Hassel Molly has one more member standing in the way of her final opponent. As Nemona had pointed out to Molly's companions who were watching Hassel is usually the last Elite Four faced. This culminated in the reveal that the fourth opponent Molly had to face was her cousin, Annabelle Van Daruk. After her exhibition battle with Top Champion Geeta a few months ago, Geta offered her the position of Substitute Elite Four member should one of the other members have conflicts which also assisted Annabelle with training her Pokémon. Molly along with everyone else watching (minus the other Elite Four members) was rightfully shocked at this revelation. However, despite Molly's confidence in defeating members so far, deep down Molly is worried as she has battled Annabelle several times upon becoming a trainer but she has gone too far to just give up.

Clodsire vs Kingambit (Clodsire wins but is worn out)

Clodsire vs Garchomp (Garchomp wins)

Baxcalibur vs Garchomp (Garchomp wins)

Ogrepon (Wellspring) vs Garchomp (Ogrepon wins)

Ogrepon (Wellspring) > Terastalized vs Okidogi (Okidogi wins after a very close one)

Typhlosion vs Okidogi (Typhlosion wins but is poisoned by Toxic Chain)

Typhlosion vs Quaquaval (Quaquaval wins but paralyzed by Thunder punch)

Meowscrada vs Quaquaval > Fighting Tera Type (Meowscrada wins after a close match)

Winner: Molly

This battle went back and forth for some time but reached a turning point when Annabelle's Garchomp came out. It effortless defeated Molly's Clodsire after weakening it and was able to take down one of Molly's strongest Pokémon Baxcalibur. By the time Ogrepon managed to beat Garchomp Annabelle revealed that her plan was to weaken Molly's Pokémon as now all of her remaining ones are tired (Like Leon did with Ash in Journeys). Molly was surprised Okidogi was Annabelle's final Pokémon but luckily thanks to Ogrepon and Typhlosion she was able to defeat him. In the end it came down to Molly's Meowscrada and Annabelle's Quaquaval both Pokémon having somewhat of a rivalry. Despite Quaquaval's fighting Tera Type and Meowscrada's damage, Meowscarada managed to defeat the egotistical Dancer Pokémon. Molly is shocked she actually beat her cousin at last and Annabelle congratulated Molly on a close battle and how she was proud of the person Molly has become. Rika then informs Molly that this is far from over as there is still the battle against Geeta and after resting her Pokémon and her friends and family wishing her luck (As only Molly was allowed to proceed) Molly headed to the final arena where her battle with Geeta will take place.
