Oh, I wish you were right! I live in Italy. I've been in London only once, six months ago. I think I'll be back there very soon, because I LOVE England. I HAVE to see Liverpool at least once, but in my dreams I'll live there in the future, with the Beatles' ghosts flying around me... *-*

Oh, I'm sorry... but.. the US is a very big pace... you have about 50 diferent places to visit without changing language or money... don't you? I would love to live there. And you'll see, one day you'll visit Canada and any place over the ocean you'll like! xD If you want to, then you'll do it, somehow!

But you did it once already! And we are in the 21st century, we shouldn't have problems like the distance, should we? Don't you worry!

NYC? Mmm... I'm not sure I want to visit that kind of places: Big cities drive me mad! You know, I live in a very small village: here everyone knows each other... When I went to London I was sooo surprised that we spent more than one hour to cross the city from the airport to our hotel!!! I could hardly believe that we were still in the same city! Here, to cross the whole village on foot, you will spend no more than 20 minutes! But maybe a quick visit to New York HAS to be done... Oh, we'll see later! xD

When driving and whatever, they can be crazy, but I love them. (But I live like 20 min from Hollywood and Los Angeles so...I'm kinda used to it perhaps.) Man I couldn't handle living in such a small village. My sister would LOVE to, but I dunno.... I like being unknown that way. I hardly know everyone on my street. But here where I live, nobody walks anywhere. Everyone drives. I've been to many places where people walk all the time, but here in CA people don't do that. I dunno why. Probably too far are something. That is the total opposite for me in England. Because America is SO much larger, I was reading the map totally wrong. I would look at the distance and would think "Man that will take FOREVER! Like I dunno 4-6 hours." We'd get there in like an hour and 1/2. I've been to most of the large cities now. LA, NYC, Las Vegas, London and Paris (and more, but those are some of the largest. Haven't been to Chicago yet.)

Oh, I can understand your point of view: living in a big city maybe gives you more "freedom": is more difficult to worry about what people may think of you when you know you will never see them again... isn't it so? I think it would be something like this for me. But it's a terrible thing that nobody walks! It's not good for the environment, first of all. Then, I always feel sick when I'm in a car or bus, so I prefer walking when I can... But I think I will experience big cities, afterall... I've already seen a bit of London, I've learned how to move. And I fell in love with her (I call "her" because I can feel she's alive..@_@). Who knows, maybe I'll spend my life in a place like that...

A little. Yeah, when no one knows you, it is easier in some way. But you can get paranoid in certain places of certain cities. They aren't always safe. Oh yeah, I know it isn't good for the environment, but here everything is kinda spread out, so you need to walk or you won't get anywhere. Like most of my best friends live 20 mins driving away from my house. I hate driving too. I get really sick and get headaches. >.< I only used the bus in places like NYC. But mostly we used the Metro/Subway/Underground. With that many people, it is hard not too feel she is a live. I don't think I'll spend my life there, but I can imagine myself living there for a little while. I don't want to raise kids there, that is for sure, but just for a few years sounds good. But I'll tell you, it is expensive to live there! Really expensive.

Oh, I know it all. I know that distances are multiplied in cities and you would spend hours walking from a place to another... And I know security is not behind every corner... well, maybe small villages are just a little bit safer than cities, ok.
I agree with you about raising kids: maybe a chaotic and noisy city is not the best place where to grow up. But I liked London because it's the only piece of England I saw. I bet there are smaller place as beautiful as London! Somewhere life is more easy for someone who never experienced city life. and I'll live there!
