That's a great picture. I haven't seen many artist who'd try to tackle that near-impossible bass of Jade's, let alone try to show two people playing it at once.
Also, props for making Jade look like herself, rather than some super-prettified version. There's something about her having subtle buckteeth, glasses, and a fair amount of beauty that adds to her charm as a character.
Dave's grumpy expression is also great here too.
I only have two nitpicks:
One is Dave's shirt sleeve seems a little short. Looks more like a babydoll T-shirt sleeve, and Dave is a guy. I think you could probably figure where I'm going with that one.
The other is Jade's propped up leg and foot underneath the two arms on the neck(s) of the bass looks a bit wonky. You might want to try sitting in a similar pose and feeling out where your legs would go as a reference. (Before you ask, I had to do similar referencing with Dave and his holding of Caledscratch with myself and a Narsil replica I've got lying around here - it's interesting how the weight of a limb, object, whatever affects how well a body can hold a certain pose.)
Overall a really cute piece I'm surprised there aren't more variations of.
PS. I kinda ship Dave and Jade, so I think this is pretty sweet without it being too syrupy or anything.

I'll definitely revise the piece because I think you're absolutely correct! (And that one foot...ahahaha yeah I definitely gave up on it, so I'll be sure to give it another go!)

You're welcome. I almost gave up on doing much indepth crit on DA of late, but then I got into Homestuck, and found pieces I had to comment on, if only to spread the fan-love.
Sometimes just having a few days or even a week between sessions can be helpful.
I just got some fantastic crit on one of my Homestuck pieces, and I'm looking forward to working on those parts they indicated. It'll only make it better. :^^:
Feet and legs are weird sometimes. They just are. It can be kinda hard to get the exact angle of the foot because feet almost always get foreshortened or angled oddly in a pose or a perspective.
Best of luck with the tweaks. I hope they don't drive you needlessly insane or anything. (As art is prone to doing sometimes.
