After listening to the theme over and really pondering the premise Sienna has realized that even though she's settled into her new life and kind of made some friends she's still just lonely at her core. This place is her new home but it doesn't feel like it. The only time she ever felt like she belonged was when she was with Clarence. Her special treatment had earned her scron from not only the field slaves but a lot of the house slaves as well. He had been her home and since she died she's never had the same feeling of completeness.

And so she works to keep those feelings at bay. She plays her games and listens to music, delves into puzzles and other pursuits of the mind. She holds onto things that give her joy and tries to remember to smile, at least a little. But it only goes so far. She doesn't felt at home, she doesn't always feel welcome and her cowardly nature hasn't helped much. She's too afraid to speak up and even more afraid to reach out. Her ability to fade into the background is a belssing and a curse becsue even when she wants to be noticed, she can't.

While she's on a ledge of sorts in the picture it's a figuritive thing as well. She can see behind her where people are having fun and enjoying themselves inside. And even if she doesn't look she can still hear. The light from the party behind her is warm and inviting but still she refuses to go inside, afraid that she won't be able to stay or worse it's taken from her. She knows she's not a lot of fun to be around and even less fun to speak to with her constant stuttering. She wants to be included and to take part in the fun and games. But her crippling apprehension and fear is a cage of her own making and she's afraid the key is long gone.

And on the opposite end of the spectrum there's a vast abyss waiting to consume her if she lets it and slides off the small ledge she's sitting on. All her loneliness and bitter despair could so easily swallow her up and leave nothing behind. but her fear of what it could bring keeps her stationary. Afraid to give up but equally afraid to try.

She feels homeless, like a burdeon on society and so she cleans to keep from being engulfed by that guilt because it's all she knows how to do. Thinking that as long everything is clean and shiny no one will notice her quietly leeching off their happiness from the shadows.

Of course she'll never share these feelings, preferring to keep them locked up in a neat and tidy box deep down where no one will have to deal with it. It's not like she's the only one with problems and it would of course be rude to throw them at someone else.
